gonna ask the shop if I can use a card to pay for like a fivers worth of stuff but they can whack the bill up to 25/30 and give me the rest in cash......
Don't even risk it that won't work. The only place you'll get away with it is in a pubCashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

I used to. A £2.50 pack of baccy would last me a good 3-4 days, but I found it a major pain in the behind rolling them whenever I needed to smoke.
Plus my fingers started turning yellow and made my teeth horribly disgusting. It would take a bottle of bleach and a wired brush to get rid of the nicotine stains. I had to get my teeth whitened every other week. :rotfl:
I use Swan ultra slim filters - don't get any yellowing so far as I can tell... much better than Roaching or worse yet neither... half an oz is lasting me almost a week now I'm well chuffedCashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

Looks like BarclayCards Pre-Application Checker is now using Equifax
Awesome!
Confirmed this myself - just did it, and then checked CC and EQ, nothing on CC just EQ.
Still said I can't have one though... which is fine, given I already do :PCashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

What was your old Capital One limit? If the rise to 2k was significant then Aqua would've got that in their monthly feed so that could be a factor, they may think you can no longer afford both....but profit would play a part too no doubt
Knowing my luck when Cap1 put me up to £200 Natwest will slash my limit, but then I'm hoping even they aren't that stupid because I use it a lot so must make them a fair bit.....
And I'm about to try for a cash advance..... gonna ask the shop if I can use a card to pay for like a fivers worth of stuff but they can whack the bill up to 25/30 and give me the rest in cash......
Limit with CAP1 started at £500 in July 08, then upto £1100 4 months later, then nothing to this week when it went up to £2100, so a rise of £1000 which is quite a lot, but Aqua would need to have been quick as CAP1 only put it up on Wednesday and Aqua seem to have reduced theirs on Thur/Fri.0 -
