yes during the man city and man united game

toni told me that was why it was reffered, still took a day or so for a decision to be reached though and if that other poster applied and got an instant decision, then they are fine.

i know my credit ratings been destroyed due to a default, i hate HSBC lol

Strange strange goings on.....I just applied for a Tesco Clubcard Credit Card, and I didnt get a decision, the i.e page just told me to press close to exit the application, I did, and nothing....anyway I called, she said, and word for word 'this has been declined at the moment, that does not mean anything is wrong, its just you have not met our internal criteria, you can appeal, with 3 months bank statements and a utility bill, would you like the address?' I took the address, she then said 'once we recieve the information, they will be put through the system, and we will contact you and hopefuly send out a card' - what do people make to that? Is that just a standard decline, or what?

That's how I got my Ulster Bank card after being declined. I sent in 3 months' bank statements and a utility bill and got a £500 limit

Ahhhh, she sounded really positive, wasnt like 'thats a decline sorry' - she actually sounded like it was just a case of confirming stuff.....really pleased to be honest, just worried about all the AVU stuff!

So you never got the same message as me then? Can you post the address on here that she gave and i'll do the same - when they see my statements it may make them think again!

At the moment i'm like saving £2k per month and have over £10k in my HSBC plus account, yada yada - don't tell me off! I wanna spend it but the Mrs says NO Niddy - Bad Niddy :think::whistle::think:

My bank account wont make for good reading, but surely they are just confirming salary etc? Or will they scrutinise my incomings and outgoings?
