Barclaycard pre-app checker said I couldn't get anything the day I was given a £1,150 limit from them

And MsAnderson has just been given a 80-90% chance of Platinum with the pre-app checker, and a flat refusal upon application... (Sorry BTW MsAnderson).

Damn inaccurate rubbish!

I can vouch for that too... i tried it today...said i couldn't get any card! Not even Barclaycard Intial! What a load of tosh!
Having said that, I have now received my new Tesco Clubcard CC today with my PIN.

I am now considering doing a spending spee....i got a 4k limit!

I can't understand, even if they do use a different CRA for the main application, how it can be such a different result. And I don't get how my credit history has improved (more 0's and i haven't maxed my cards out last 2 months) yet I now get turned down!

and my jacamo limit has just gone up from 500 to 900 today, and they put it up last month from 300 - 500 weird, 2 months in a row and its gone up 600 quid

Tesco Clubcard CC have a 0% interest on purchases for 12 months...so i will treat it as a loan and make the most of it while it lasts....earning more clubcard points!

The other bonus about having Tesco Clubcard CC is you can use Buy Now Pay Later scheme....

For example you buy a laptop for £399, and you pay it with Tesco Clubcard CC, it will not charge interest on the CC account for 6 months.... basically a loan deal of 6 months 0% APR. It is interest free and earn extra clubcard points!
