Oh well, maybe time to apply for the bank of Hamas (Terrorist Card).... they give a permanent 0% because they are unsure if the bank will be there from day-to-day!

6 years but it will only be 'referred back' to within 6 months of applying. If you mean you used to have an account and now want another with the same organisation, then wait at least 6 years (esp if you had debt etc with them)

6 years comes from HMRC - but also, they cannot retain data any longer than is needed to process their data (whatever that means)...

Thanks NID, didn't have an account with them, but made an application just about 3 and a bit years ago but at the time didn't have very much credit history so it was thanks but no thanks, lol! x
