If you allow Hermes to leave at your door then you should report them to the catalogue and remind them to ban it. Obviously you've not done this thus they've had no alternative but to kinda drop you - you may find they will eventually want rid of your custom, once account is paid up.
To be fair you could have prevented this after the first parcel went missing - assuming there are several? They would not take such drastic action on one missing parcel, no matter the value. It is designed to stop apparent fraud mate.
By calling up have I not tried to stop it from happening? All parcels require a signature, so to drop them outside my door, in a busy hallway is not the most appropriate way to ensure I get my parcels.
Eevery time a parcel has gone missing, I have not signed for it, and they told me they would carry out an investigation, and guess what, nothing! Now I am being penalised!
Jacamo is way to expensive, JD Williams is for women and the mens selection is poor anyway, it has served its purpose. I just dont like to be made out to be some sorta thief/fraudster!
And also why reduce my credit limit to £200, knowing I have £250 balance? What a joke this is turning out to be!0 -
Someone on the other thread has claimed that he has applied for Tesco CC but was declined...later discovering Tesco used Equifax for their credit check and not Experian.
That has not happened in my case as they search Experian.
I wonder whether some lenders do rotate different credit agencies (Experian/Equifax) as their main credit agency every now and then like every week using different agency to make it more difficult for people here to know which credit agency they are using in a bid to catch us out!0 -

Most lenders use both mate and always go tothe second CRA if the first and main search did not qualify the applicant (i.e. inaccurate or confusing data pull).....
Nothing new, i've got Natpest searches on both my Ex & Eq files2010 - year of the troll

Then refuse to pay charges - they cannot do this, they have to give you notice to bring the account back into credit before they add charges, to make your life eaiser i'd pay £50 asap.2010 - year of the troll

Yeah but this person claimed only Equifax was used? So it can't be both lol. So i guess my theory is that some lenders have this system of randomly selecting applicants to use whatever CRA they see fit?
He has not confirmed the method how he applied for Tesco CC...it is possible he could have applied instore and not online like i have.0 -

If the account are in arrears and statement produced before the arrears have cleared up, it is LIKELY they will report late markers on your file with the account concerned.0 -
No I mean report the reason they have jacked my credit limit?0
-
Nah, unlikely. But they will of course report your CL reduction when they next update ur account.... nothing to be concerned really.0

I spoke to the manager this morning who lowered my credit limit, couple of points he made are (just to make things easier):
· He said that my credit limit would not remain at this level forever
· Advised me that no information would be shared with any other company than Equifax
· Advised me that I would have no charges due to my credit limit being lowered and being over that limit
· Confirmed that had been 11 adjustments on my Jacamo account – basically an adjustments could be a delivery charge back
He also stated that the company NID advised me about above does not exist and its just a myth, I asked if he knew the company I was talking about, he said no! Ws a bit rude, but I can sort of see where they are coming from, however I still feel like I am being penalised for circumstances I have no control over. He also advised me that in future ALL parcels will require a signature – well durrr!!! I thought that was common practice anyway!?0
