I waited and waited for my ex to sort out the divorce ~ never happened, in the end I had to get it done and then pay for the bailiffs to get him to sign the papers :rolleyes:

we didn't have any property or joint finances though, so I did it all myself. It is a little pricey ~ around £500 but worth every penny to me

any way im in a very similar situation, although i know loads of people i camnt really call them my friends, im a bit of a loner apart from my partner and daughter, i tend to just kep myself to myself , ill share a little secret my best mate is my computer and that the way its gonna stay
(ha ha) nah really there are some great people on this site and im sure by now you talk to so many its like having loads of friends

Apologies to all about my absense too, end of term rush, my wireless at home is playing up, hubby is playing up, and I'm too hot.

Work is just frantic, yesterday was sports day, commuted into sports 2 hours for the kids due to the extreme heat. Our office is on the top floor and hotter n hell but everyone thinks I shouldn't complain because of my air conditioned classroom. With no year 11 I only teach in there for 1 or 2 hours a day - none tomorrow :mad: Also when I do teach in there its like a drop in centre, half the staff just pop in mid lesson to cool down!

I'll catch up with you all next week, not planning on staying sober tomorrow, have to do leaving speech for HOD so will need dutch courage.

Evening all,
end of year is hell, social workers, parents, children moving to other units, children leaving, visiting new ones.:eek:
transition plans:eek: letters, head of care panicing :eek: roll on Tuesday.

I am definatly up for a meet up during the holidays.

Ona nice note re Mr 4x4 and his birthday, he remembered I am going out and he rememebered I havent visited a local tourist attraction (Dover Castle) so said due to my potential hangover Wednesday go to Dover Castle on Thursday for his birthday :j way to go a man that remembers what a woman has told him:j
