  • Hmm footie was a good excuse to go out when there was nobody around. I've had a good day and not worried too much about the state of my marriage. He texted me this morning to say he had left a card for me (why?) and that made me a bit wobbly. I spent the money I would have spent buying him and me anniversary pressies (I always had to pay for my own as he was always skint). I splashed out and bought a pair of half price Chanel sunglasses! I also used my JL vouchers so ended up only paying the price of a decnt pair outta boots.

Urbs I hope all the buddas bring you luck, I always smile when I see them and they make me feel good although I have none in my house.

Messy what I do have is a whole cabinet full of Myth & Magic and they are mostly dragons!

Sorry to all who cared about the football. At least you didnt' halu your asses all the way over there to watch it, one of my colleagues did!

CG I missed the link, PM it I'd love to have a look.

Had too many Starbucks today - will cut down next week!

Well just had first call from DS. He seems to be fine, enjoying himself so far. apparently he's only really had chips to eat so far. Hope they manage to get some fruit and veg into him before the end of the week. DS is a veggie and the family he's with aren't..so he's a bit of an unknown. He's managed to spent a good chunk of his holiday money already, so had to have a word about the fact it's only his second day and he's still got a week to go.

Foolishly agreed to feed DS mate's cats while they're away.....not a big deal but the cats eat tinned catfood makes me barf _pale_ oh well managed the first feeding without loosing my breakfast.....it's just a good job I like cats :D

been doing some matched betting today so have not spent a penny, but managed to earn £46 so a good day...apart from the fact that I've been online and watching sport all day, so feeling abit of a lazy bones. Did manage to be helpful on MSOS board though:D

Oh and walked to the cats house, so felt somewhat healthy as I didn't take the car.

Had big plans to make some pudding today....but the Tennis got in the way...it's good for none diet though.

I promise to be a better girl tomorrow....I'm going to buy some proactive yoghurt and have a go at making yoghurt in a flask. I'm going to make that pudding I promised myself and I'm going to pick one room of my house and tidy it up. Plus I'm going to kick my OH in the rear end and make him do something too. Like fix my bike!!!!

    Anybody doing anything exciting tonight?

How did the scarecrow festival go? What is a scarcrow festival?

Kp have never been really keen on the myth and magic dragons, have a couple of land of the dragons which are nice. Trouble is when people know you collect something thats what you get for birthdays, christmas, mothers day etc..... Have some really tacky ones:eek: then if people visit get `oh wheres that dragon I bought you` :rotfl: Enchantica is my favourite.

Funny that, hubby bough me M&M every birthday and xmas until I told him to stop! I also collect penguins so I get lots of them bought too. Oh and I collect handbags but for some reason I have to buy them myself....

Zombie, glad to hear DS is enjoying himself a week of junk will not do him too much harm, you can feed him healthy when he gets home. As for the cats I don't feed mine wet food in the heat just dry food, buy a cheapo pack of biscuits and feed them with those instead, clear it up after and chuck away some cans (in your bin of course) and their owners will never know any different, the cats won't tell them and they might enjoy the change!

Zombiecazz, I agree with KP! I hate tinned dog and cat food. I asked if parents' dog could have dried food when he came to stay. Ours has never had the tinned stuff. There is some nice stuff available or those puoches where you can empty it and not have it sitting a round in the tin.
    Time for bed.
    Sweet dreams all.

    Hello all

I'm really sorry I haven't posted for a week, but been thinking of you all. News below (copied from OS). I don't have time to read through the thread at the mo, will try and catch up later!!

Sorry I haven't been around for a week, but it has all kicked off at work. First week back after six weeks sick leave and I wish I had stayed at home! Restructuring is taking place and I've applied for two jobs, my 'current' one which has been redesigned so it is twice the workload and the job above mine. I, a colleague, and a person at that level already, have an interview for that one on Monday, but unfortunately the person currently at that level has taken it personally and her partner has sent me a threatening text message :( She's also told people in the office what her partner wants to do to me and it is so horrible that no-one will tell me  It's not a nice feeling, coming home and double checking who is parked outside, just incase. It has all got a bit nasty....not looking forward to tomorrow.

Been quite a week, bumped into my ex at work, blubbed (not in front of him!) so took control the next day and went for coffee and didn't blub :D

House news...long story which involves the vendor pulling out three times.....call on Thursday, she now wants me to buy it again. Dilema...it is opposite ex OH and a lot of money, but so far have spent £4K trying to buy a bloomin' house so part of me just thinks buy it and see what happens!! Looking at it again with some v. good friends who will tell me honestly if they think it is pants.

Is the meet still on next weekend? I hope so, I'm looking forward to it :D

    TTFN lovely people.

    MP x

P.S. ((((hugs)))) Miroslav, good luck today. It's hard when you wake up feeling down, hopefully the sun is shining where you are.

  • Thinking of you Mushy, work situation sounds just awful ((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))). Keep as cheerful as you can and report this threatening behaviour to something - if you have a text thats a start to show its happening.

Miroslav - "Tomorrow is another Day" one bad day doesn't have to lead to another, after a bad day go to bed thinking "glad thats over" rather than oh god tomorrow will be awful too. I hate the heat as well, do my best to hide in air conditioned spots. Not too easy in a school although my classroom has aircon but because year 11 have gone I'm not actually in there much. Lots of icy drinks are the order of the day - have fun inventing some new ones (I'm nearly out of gin so gonna try with vodka!!!) Seriously gonna get some more fruit juices and be inventive.

Off to take my grumpy toddler to Lakeside to meet his precious Gran - pop him in the play place and have coffe and lunch. Had to arrange soemthing to stop him screaming to go to the boot sale. I wasn't giving in on that one 1 its too damned hot and 2 I don't want to see his Dad who works there (and to be honest neither does he, normally he doesn't want to go back to Daddy when we walk round).

Ho Hum, paddling pool is filled for when we get home.

I just get down days, where I miss people even more and see no future.

My interests in things are draining as well. I used to love football, I still do! I just don't like the people who play it anymore, and i've relied on football all my life as my one get away. Britney remains a huge interest, but I can't live my life around that!

I'm constantly bored, unmotivated and aggitated.

The weather is hot again, which means no Sunday dinner as I can't cook in this heat, 3 floors up :(

I've a big decision to make as well. My Group Psycotherapy is not going well. I sometimes don't turn up, so get criticised, and when I do turn up and say nothing, I get criticised for saying nothing and told I maybe better off not bothering.

I think I will quit it, but i'll be criticised for quitting
