  • Hi there Wannabe.

Sorry to hear about your troubles.

I'm in a similar situation in that I moved to Bournemouth a while ago and have found it hard to meet new friends. I'm thinking about doing an evening class in the Autumn, as I thought that might be a good place to meet new people.
Perhaps if I pick something fun, it might be full of fun people? :D Even if its not, at least it gets me out of the house after work. Perhaps this might be something you could consider?

Chin up chuck, things nearly always turn out better that you imagine.

Trust me to get things mixed up! Sorry Philippa, this next week will fly by. Are things cheaper out there 'cos the cost of living is cheaper??? Got you for another week - yaay! happyclapper.gif

Twink - hug2.gif Do you feel giulty 'cos it's sitting doing nothing? Even if you achieve one minute of meditation to start its something to build on, and its a minute of peace inside you that you didnt have before. I'm on my own too, you've always got me.

Mushy - hug2.gif You need some loving supportive friends that dont stab you in the back.

I try and find things to make me feel good. I think the world can be a cold, hard place and the only one who can make it warm and soft for me, is me.
Went to an urban farm recently and spent a few hours watching the pigs! They were burrowing in the mud with their snouts theyd practically ploughed their pen up! Really made me smile.
Don't get me wrong, a few weeks ago I thought 'blow the bills for a change' and went to a local outlet village and bought next shoes on sale £5, Monsoon ring on sale £2, Fiorelli bag on sale £15. Occasionally I worship the God of shopping!!

Aarrgh!!! My computer comlpletly died on me yesterday so had to get it repaired which cost £50 to tell me that it was overheating  !!

Thank you Careful Girl for the support and offers of company on the viewings but i managed to find the perfect place yesterday!!! We offered on it today so everybody please keep your fingers crossed for me - I really love it and am hoping it will all work out.

It really is true that a watched phone never rings.......!!

I love popping in here to see what everyone is up to - it's so friendly! Lets keep it up! I managed to have a chat to my mum last night and tell her how lonely i was feeling, only for her to tell me that she has always felt like that. We are not alone and we should open up to more people, lonliness is more common than we think.

    I'm glad I've got you guys..........:grouphug:

Now i'm cracking up. Just had call from work (waiting for relocation), theyre putting me in an absolutely horrendous office which is also incredibly stressful. This office will have a huge impact on my health.
I had to name 4 offices to fill out a form (civil service red tape), theyve ignored the first 3 as they dont come under my department anymore or have been re-organised but I didnt know this!!!! The fourth was this horrible office which I put down to fill the form 'cos typical civil service you have to. I couldnt find any other offices near me.

I've just spoken to the guy twice and he's not giving at all. If I am off sick, i'm sacked.

I wish I had someone here to talk to.

I'm panicking. So tired of fighting them. This has been 3 years now.
