God it has been a crazy xmas and New Year. There have been some good points and some real lows. The sister and brother in law lost the baby and they live in NZ so that was really hard and involved lots of phone calls and tears. As for the marriage ... well it seemed like an impossible time to make that sort of decision so I don't know, he said he wants to change and try again?!?
Any way it is so good to see that there are new people joining this thread, I can't believe wwe are still going strong - well done all
take care all and best wishes for 07

Hello Everyone,
I posted on this thread proably a month or two ago, but haven't been back since. Well I've still not really got any friends, have a lovely boyfriend who is fantastic, but really miss going for the odd drink or shopping trip with a good mate.
I'm 25 and from West Yorkshire. Moved back to my home town after living with the ex for 5 years. It's my New Yeas Resolution to make some new friends this year, so I'm really going to try my best.
Take care xComping Challenge

Hi all.
The mud came out ok but it seems i picked up more than mud from that puddle. Just woken up after being in bed nearly all day. Went to doc's this morning and he says the reason i have no voice and the fact my throat feels like someone has grated it is because i've got a virus. Feel totally washed out.
At least if i get sick now it should free me up for no other bouts of illness this year. I am determined its going to be great.
Starlorna - welcome back to the thread. Does your new bf have any friends who have girlfriends. I'm sure if you explained to them you dont have many friends locally they would welcome you with open arms... Be nice and friendly, make the first move, invite them to see a chick flick or something you know your bf and theirs would hate to see.Last bet : 26th Oct 2006:j Debt free 25th Feb 2008:j Living "my" dream:T0 -
hi everyone, i'm totally exhausted and only been back at work for 2 days!! Well have already started making an effort to get in contact with some of my old friends, who i lost touch with. Its going well so far have managed to get a hold of two of them through email and have just to arrange dates to meet up. It's quite daunting because i've not seen one of them for over 2 years but i'm sure we'll have loads to talk about.
Hope everyone is well. xx0 -

I got in touch with an old friend the other day that I hadn't seen for about 8 years (from school) we had a coffee and a good chat. I'm not sure if we'll meet up again, but it was nice to do something differentfor a changeComping Challenge

Its a bit scary when you havent seen them for so long but even if we dont have much in common after all this time at least i've made a effort.0 -
Well done lilminx.
I got in touch with some old school friends a few years ago. I took along some old photgraphs of us which was a great ice breaker.Last bet : 26th Oct 2006:j Debt free 25th Feb 2008:j Living "my" dream:T0
