I was married for 14 years ~ it was probably 12 years too long
but it took a lot longer for me to realise. I don['t know when it started feeling better ~ I am still angry when I see him and we split up 6 years ago.
12 months is not long, every day makes a difference. Not sad at all ~ just humanit takes as long as it takes. I'm sure Mr 4x4 is happy to stick around anyway.

Sorry I@ve been quite, sooo tired! Last night couldn't get DS to settle (after spending the day with his dad!) and ended up going to bed at same time as him (9pm) Woke up at 4.30 this mornign and couldn't get back to sleep!!!
Yesterday was a great day at school but just not used to it after the hols! Only year 7 in and didn't teach but spent an hour with the 2 kids who are in my form (we have vertical forms now so a few from each year group). After just 1 hour, sat just in front of 2 kids I was croaky! Then I got my period so I was cranky. Then last night I was walking and my knee sort of twisted and went crack, was painful but thought nothing of it. Of course it stiffened up and I have been in pain/hobbling all day today and the school nurse was off sick so I couldn't even see her! Just an hour with my form (all but the year 12's) and 1 1/2 lessons teaching year 7 in a room where the temperature was hitting 30 and the computers weren't even working. Still croaky but no worse.
Then tonight I was getting my dinner and my knee cracked again, now I can barely put weight on it, can't twist it at all etc. May be off sick tomorrow which is going to f*** my department (long story, 2 full time experienced staff, 2 part time experienced staff one of whom is needy and went sick today without even bothering to leave cover, 3x NQT's!!!!)
Nearly got the financial seperation done, all goes to plan will be sorted on Friday. Mixed feelings. The best things in life are NOT free - but they sure are cheaper with MSE!:j0 -

The vertical forms are only in tutor time and don't have any lessons together, although there are various times when they spend an hour off timetable and with their form tutors. One idea is that it gives them the chance to help each other, all my 10 and 11 girls have been looking out for my 2 year 7 boys, the girls even had lunch together today - unusual for cross year groups.
As kids move through the school they have more to offer each other, my year 9's choosing their options will have advice from the 10's & 11's and the 11's tell the 10's not to muck about and end up with all the coursework in year 11. The 12's tell the 11's not to !!!! it up and have to leave.
Knackered again, knee is killing me, pulled ligament.
Oh send 4x4 this way....The best things in life are NOT free - but they sure are cheaper with MSE!:j0 -
