Ok guys have had a wonderful day!!!!!! I am going to put a few photies on of Nick and I (Why do i always forget to think about what i look like Nick looks gret but I don't)and My friend and her horse. I will tell you about the ride after i have tried to get the photies done. Now the quality isn't as good as Mc I took the ones of the friend with Nick pulling at my arms wanting grass.

been into town today, found out last night that one of my greatest friends has just had a baby lst night so got a little fall asleepy thing its lovely could send me to sleep, lol.

Sorry I have made the posts all look funny. Don't know If I can cope with the pics of me being on for long, You lot can see but don't know about the rest of the world!!:o
As for the ride, I put all Nick's white stuff on because my friend D. wanted to go for a short ride along the lanes then do some schooling. However we love going miles together and the horses adore eachother. Nick spends most of her time whinnying to Breeze. When I was taking the photies of D. every time Breeze came past Nick whinnied. Anyway we ended up gong for 2 hours at least through the fields and woods. Nick was caked in mud. She has 3 white socks which were brilliant white when we set off.:rolleyes:
Just had an amazing time. The sun was shining and it is so beautiful. This is my holiday. :j
Hope you like the pics.Mc will do better though.

You pay your money you take your choice I think. It is all I really want to do. It is hard to want to go anywhere else when it is so beautiful. I am happy that I am not going on holiday now. I can spend all my time doing my fav thing. I might not be able to afford her for long so I had better enjoy her.
I don't get my hair done, the clothes are not new, I haven't been to the cinema or theatre for years. I spen most of my time in the muck!! However days like today spent with lovely friends and shared with you lot make it all worthwhile.
Hows Holly? And the chicks?

def agree CG, you dont need to go away to have fun, as long as you got things you love and are happy doing it thats all that matters, lol

holly alright today, i think havent seen much of her today, went out with mates today was good to catch up on them, havent seen them in ages as been at uni, but now going to try and do more with them.

It can be a struggle. If she is wound up or scared of something (deer cement mixers combines daffodils bins pheasants.....)But generally it is fab. D. is the best and sharing the countryside with her is such a pleasure. It is a shame that OH isn't good enough at riding to join us. He sometimes walks and brings the dog on short ones but we have to wait for him to catch up. Nick loves company and if we meet prople walking she always wants to stay with them. She loves it when OH comes. She is just a big dog really.

J-boo - Not at all organised. You should see my house. Did manage to use some of those fab vouchers I go from Tesco clothes online, so Saved £13 on clothes and got 2 free packs of bounty from freebies posted on this site. So I was a good MSE today.

cg- Download something like easythumbnails to get smaller pictures

It's dead easy to use, just change the sizes to something like 1000 x 250. Sorry if I'm telling you somehting you already know.
I agree who needs to go away when you can spend hours having fun on your horse.

I came on with the intention of starting a similar post, so very pleased to have stumbled on yours.
I've been single now for about a year, and the weekends when the kids are at their dads are killing me. I do have a good friend and hang out with my sisiter who I get on well with, but they both have husbands and weekends are family time.
I thought about doing a course, but theres not much happening at weekends, and I can go from Friday teatime to Monday morning without speaking a word to anyone, it's awful and really getting me down.
