    Hi all,
I'm astounded reading through this thread how many of us are going through similar things. I am too going through divorce after 15 years married and 4 kids and yes feel really lonely. I used to have lots of friends first years of marriage but ex really wasn't a 'social' type and eventually the friends just dwindled away as I got wrapped up in kids and career.
Lots of things are going good in my life now, kids are great, careers good, and I'm so glad that I spent all the years working towards it as otherwise I couldn't have afforded to have survived divorce/separation with a roof over my head! (but that's another story)
But now I feel a little isolated and lonely as a newly divorced woman, I have work colleagues (but I work 50 miles away so can't really go out with them) but no close friends. I've thought of going to classes, clubs etc but for me its getting over that initial hurdle of going on my own.
I'm from Cheshire area so if anyone would like to chat and maybe grab a coffee sometime let me know.

Anyone feel free to get in touch....its a new chapter in my life and I need some new friends to help me write it....
    Jx

    Welcome Julieboo. groupwave.gif

We're a nice bunch on here so feel free to moan, tell us what's going on, ask advice and just generally chat.

It's a bit quiet here today....everyone must be busy.
I've been fairly successful so far, as I've just managed to sort out the majority of my kids school clothes, with a week left to spare.
bow6Youarethewoman.gif Just need to get some school shoes now.

Thanks so much, I definately feel very welcomed. You sound v. organised :A and yes you have reminded me I still need to do that...been putting off as moved house 4 weeks ago and it seems to be bill after bill at the moment with setting utilities up.
But plan to get the uniforms sorted out this week, my second eldest is starting secondary school so will be more expensive this time...but I am aiming to do a fair bit of shopping around to get the best deal.
Its such a brilliant site this and yes judging by the threads people are very friendly and helpful...look forward to chatting with everyone.
