Cg - I was seriously offended by your weather comments. I even tried posting, but fortunately the sight failed to work and my post was lost....You should of read the things I said about you as I gazed out of the window at the overcast dreary day outside.
MC- I forgotten how tall Edinburgh folk are.:D ....I spend five years or so in Edinburgh as I student, but never and I mean never did I manage to stay for the festival. Now I'm gutted because I have kids and can't afford to go to the festival. Oh well. Back to the snails
Hey guys be adventurous, like Indie. Once I get my kitchen in you can all come and visit and try some of my excellent cooking. Off course there is nowhere to eat in the house so it's floor space and your dinner on your knee, but I promise it will be very tasty.
CG- try out the weetabix cake or brownies from this site they are soooooooo easy to make. I tried the Brownie today and added some bananas to them and they turned out really yummy even the kids enjoyed them.
Rose - I was thinking about getting a couple of chickens. What advice would you give? I was thinking about putting them in my backgarden. How many do you have? What's your chicken house like? etc etc"A banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining, but wants it back the minute it begins to rain." Mark Twain0 -
hi zc
yeah a back garden would be ok as long as they can get some shelter, we have a hen house for out chickens, as we have about 10 chickens and 2 cockrels, your welcome to have one or more of out little chicks we dont know what to do with them. there very cute at the mo, feed them corn and they will be happy and fill a dish for water, our hens just drink in the river.
hope that helps
anything else just ask,BB B*TCH NO 8

Love the pictures!
Mc so sorry that your cousin is so ill. Massive hugs. Can you go and visit? You seem very close to your family. They are lucky to have you.
The Ed Fes pics are up to the usual excellence. Don't like the sword eater! Scary. Would prefer snails. The people look as wonderful as ever. I am looking forward to you taking pics of Nick. She had her bath today.
Rose I love the chicks. :smileyhea The older ones are just past the ugly stage when they look a bit thuggish with the mixture of fluff and feathers. The young ones are sooooooo cute. When we had ours The first were called Jane and Peter (ladybird book characters I was only 4 )then the next cockerel was Paul. The chicks had names like Lightening!!There was one once with half a wing-she was Shortwingand lived for years. We had an old one who came to be known as Granny. She had many clutches of chicks and was an excellent mother. :T Sad thing was that the fox always got them
. Granny managed to outwhit them for years. The sheep all had Shakespearian names. We had Triolus and Cressida, Romeo and Juliet, Anthony and Cleopatra as well as Bonnie, Baby, Dot, Rambo and Scat. I think you should give them cool names artists or musicians or what ever you are into!! If it was Mc he'd call them Pentax, Cannon, Nokia, Olympus......:rotfl: Look before you all fall asleep she asked!!!!
I am riding tomorrow with my Karate friend. Nick will be soooooooooooo happy. She loves her horse. He looks like Black Beauty. He adores Nick too. I will try to take the digital camera and take some photos.
