Just a few suggestions:
Fish pie
Rice pudding - (very cheap to buy the rice)
Cauliflower cheese
Custard
Failing that I make a big batch of white sauce, (butter, flour, milk), then freeze it into ice cube trays so I can defrost as much as I need and add parsley for parsley sauce with fish, cheese to go with pasta, cauliflower or on top of lasagne, plain white sauce for fish pie, dill to go with salmon.
There is a great website where you can put in what ingredients you have and it comes up with a list of recipes. I found it once somewhere in the forum but can't remember where or what the site is called. I'm sure someone will post it below at some point....

Thanks, I will try some of those, also I never realised that you can freeze milk, how long can you freeze it for?0

I don't know exactly, but definitely several months. You just have to be aware that when it is defrosted it will deteriorate at the same rate as usual, and it is best defrosted in an unheated room (a few hours) or in the fridge (takes 24 hours ish)0

Great, have now put some in the freezer, when I think of all the milk I have thrown away! They say that you learn something new every day.

You could also make muffins as they use milk and are very easy to freeze. There is a recipe in the indexed collection for jam donought muffins and they are truly delicious.
You can also add milk to bolognaise sauce to make it creamy.0 -

Popped in the shop on the way home tonight, and they had a load of milk reduced to 10p for 4 pints, couldnt resist buying 6 bottles of it (would have brought more if I could have carried it :rotfl:)
I have managed to squeeze 3 in my freezer, but have no room for the other 3, and already have a 6pinter in the fridge.
So need some things I can make using milk so it doesnt go to waste.
