LAPLAND UK - great offer!

I'm a bit surprised by the negative responses to be honest. This is fairly local to me and has had really good reviews - it is in no way connected to the New Forest company. It is genuine money saving - buy 2 get 2 free - yes money is an issue for lots of people and we certainly couldn't afford to go to the real Lapland, but at £139 this is much more affordable!0

I'm confused - how can it have good reviews when it hasn't even opened yet?0

I never said it was - but the absolute fiasco from last year highlights the risks that you take with companies like this and spending so much money for a one off event. My argument is that you can do just as well for completely free.
Millions of people are out of work atm and money is an issue for many. This is a moneysaving site. And I'm a moneysaver - I live near Bewl Water and I still wouldn't go there. Do your homework and you could save yourself a fortune.
I wouldn't spend £70 on a day out to see some reindeer and Santa etc when you can go to Hamleys' Grotto for free or Bluewater's grotto for nothing.
How can you possibly compare it to a grotto in a toy shop if you've never been? It's about as far removed from a store grotto as you can get! Plus as iwannanicerlife states it is a money saving offer for those wanting to go0 -

I've already bought my tickets for the 7th at full price. Would it be worth sending an e-mail trying to get a refund does anyone think. It makes £77.50 difference.0

lol - that's like saying how can you compare a bunch of log cabins in Kent with some fake snow scattered about to Lapland
My family have been to the real Lapland for Christmas and it's about as far removed from Bewl Water as you can get."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -

I never compared to the REAL Lapland, as I haven't been, I merely said that if you've never been, how can you compare it to a store grotto? You can't!0 -
Whatever you personally think of any particular item then surely it's still valuable to save money for people that want to do it ANYWAY.
I've seen some dresses, bags and shoes on here that I think are horrendous, however for someone who likes them, then they are entitled to save money, just as anyone else.0 -

You're getting very uptight about this. Completely needlessly.
I'm comparing it to a grotto/winterland experience as you can go to places like this for absolutely free (and local!) and to many children, it is just as good.
You've said you liked it last year. Well fair play. Many others won't have done. To me, these types of places are overpriced rubbish. Horses for courses.
