The ambulance chasing accident scammers are also now trying blind cold call phone calls.
I had a call a couple of days ago to a TPS registered line with caller number withheld and the caller was clearly from India and asked if I had been injured in a car accident and not received compensation yet as they could help me receive the cash payment I was due.
I tried to ask who they were and if they had a website I could look at but he tried to tell me it was claimservices and there is no https://www.claimservices.co.uk etc He would not give me a proper website address.
At this point I got fed up and asked if he and his countrymen in India didn't have a better way to try to earn a wage and why he was flagrantly breaching TPS rules and he hung up on me.0
