I Intend to Sally. The Multimeter is coming out at the weekend. I put another bulb in it today and it is fine son far...the thing is this garage has work coming out of their ears, their rep is good and they have come recommended. They don't exactly need to bum work off people. That said it IS still fishy.

  • Morning all,
Shady sorry to hear about your car, as Sally said def suspicious, that's probably why they have work 'comin out of their ears' just racking up a few 'extra' smallish repairs on cars, will I'm sure bump up their profits nicely. Call me cynical (I am) I think I'd be taking my car elsewhere for a second opinion, don't you just hate when you feel you've been done over
Banwa, what did you do? Whatever it is, hope its fixable :( Reminds me of a part time job I had in a big supermarket when I was at school, they put me on the till (old style with buttons, as am talkin bout the olden days) and I charged one woman £500 for a few items, she nearly fainted when I told her the total!! needless to say, I was quickly demoted and put on the shelf stacking :rotfl:

I don't post much but I am still in the challenge, will make another payment on Friday, and I have all my wkend shifts booked up for feb and march which is good, nice to know there will be regular payments for the time being, hopefully I can continue to get shifts, I have heard that oct, nov, dec time is the hardest to get shifts, but that's a way off yet. I will update on Friday.

Shadydaz, methinks you need to send your valuable business elsewhere. £260 - gutting :(

Thanks to all who have asked, no, sadly :(it can not be rectified, it's sales down the drain. I put the wrong date when I was ordering some materials for one of the factories and the factory stopped for 12 hours, and that's how much product they can make in that time.

Have been very blue because normally I think I'm okay at my job and I hate to fail plus it is appraisal week so I was extremely worried.

Had my appraisal today though and it was extremely positive, my mishap was barely touched upon apart from 'it was a mistake, and you have learnt from it'. Am really really happy, looks like my promotion is still on for later this year and I haven't killed my career in its infancy. :T

Credit card total continues to go up, as we put grocery and petrol on the 0% one to bring down the overdraft. Will all start to go down again in March
