and im so pleased for you KipKip, they obviously feel that you are the best value for money - so don't forget to ask for a raise when we are out of the recession! ;)

I hope its nothing too serious when you go to the Doc's Amatheya - keep us posted.

I enjoying another day off work today, having dinner with the in-laws later and no matter how much we argue they always insist on paying which is lovely of them.

KipKip that is wonderful wonderful news.

    Shadydaz, are you okay?

Here's one for you all. Has anyone here done a typo that has cost their employer £150,000 in turnover? No? Just me then?

No:D but last week at work my beautiful assistant also made a data entry error which caused a stock discrepency for £380000. Needless to say within an hour of the error occuring the director of finance was knocking on my door asking if it was correct:mad: as his whole department went into meltdown and a number of financiers needed assistance from the paramedics for shock:rotfl: Good job I had corrected it by the time he came down stair.
It must have been like when Homer went to buy a camper van in the SIMPSONS and the credit check alert went beserk.:rotfl:

Banwa it can be fixed surely? I hope they don't take what is probably a genuine mistake the worng way.:(

The car was in for its MOT. I expected there to be something wrong with it and there was. :o

    New Spring £60 Labour £50:(
    Brake Pipe £50 Labour £100 :(

I can deal with that and was prepared for it sort of.:money: This next bit is the wind up though.:rotfl: The Garage also failed the car on it's parking lights and brake lights. None are working all of a sudden. They all were lsat night when I checked the car with the wife???

The same thing happened last year at the same garage. ;) Only I paid them to fix the "short" that there apparently was with the Brake Light wiring and kept blowing bulbs.:p Same problem with the same light has MIRACULASLY appeared on MOT day again;), despite me paying £150 go get it sorted.

Don't think the mechanic was very happy with me as I went a little dippy.:rotfl:

None the less I have booked it in to be fixed next Tuesday. Here's hoping the bill isn't more than £315 cause that is all I got. I am doing the wiring and lightage myself this week (As I should have done last time except the MOT had already exprired:o). :money:

  • Shady - That sounds to me like the garage may be trying to pull a fast one, bulbs hardly ever go and what are that chances of the same ones going two years in a row at exactly the time you take it to the garage, especially when you checked them last night???????

I smell a fish (and it isn't me cos I've had my weekly wash)

  • Sorry just re-read your post - If it is a short then why was it working last night? and it shows a lot for their great repair last year!!! I would definitely fix that myself and check for any sabatage.

Banwa Is it something thats easily sorted???
