I know!
I actually purchased it for £60K in 2004 and in a silly moment borrowed again and increased the mortage in about 2007 (when the flat was valued at about £85k). We've had a valuation for £55k, one for £67k and one for £70k. With costs etc and NO savings we'd end up with nothing even if we got top end valuation.
Gutted for you. Hopefully the market will rise again andput you back in positive equity, but not too much as to price me out of the market fro a first time buyerWas in debt £23k- Not now (12/07-12/10):T

Hi everyone!
Haven't posted for a while - just want to say congrats to everyone on their sigs- the totals look fab!
Spent the month obsessing over my spread sheets - Embarrassing to admit but least I now know how much hard earned cash I've been wasting in the past - v. depressing thought...:(
Sold a few bits n pieces on ebay this month - including front row tix for a comedien I really like - got a good price for them tho and I thought I can just beg/steal/borrow DVD when it comes out. Used the cash to pay off one of my store cards so with min repayments etc total for jan is £1083.02:T
Off to root the wardrobe for more to ebay next month!
Good luck for Feb everyone!:DLBM Dec 09 - £27,227Debt Free by Xmas 2013 - #109 - £726.54/£10865 (6.68%)0
