I've got my work cut out for me, come back from our honeymoon £612.82 added to our debt so I'm going to add this onto my £10,000 challenge. Part of this was a balance transfer fee that should save us money in the long run but even so
Out tonight but home tomorrow so I need to cancel an out of date gym membership to free up just shy of £50 and I can start ebaying/listing books on amazon.
OH is also out of work so I am just compiling a new SOA in case he doesn't get something soon. I know it's not going to make for pretty reading as I only earn enough to cover the essential bills and nothing on top (like my travel card or food).Debt at lightbulb moment (18 Aug 2009) 30933.95,Debt 1 July 2011 £9663.71Debt free date[STRIKE]February 2017[/STRIKE] September 20160 -
Amatheya81- Aww hope it's nothing to serious
Unfortunately Jackjack is a very pawly old man but he's being good and taking his medicine and atleast he seems to be feeling a little happier. Blooming vet charged me £25 for the diagnosis which I had already predicted and drugs which I had advised her would be best... I think she was affraid of rats and the feeling appeared to be mutual :rolleyes:0 -
Hi all,
Just writing a sneaky post from workKnitty78, hope you enjoyed your honeymoon, and fingers crossed your OH finds work soon. Amatheya81 hope your ratty hangs in there, I have 2 myself Ruby n Millie (well my 10yo DD technically!) and they are lovely.
Shadydaz, what about some sugarfree mints, mind the laxative effect if you consume too many though LOLNothing on the money front to update - just popped in for a chat!

Have had a bit of a bad month which I won't go into detail about, but it has been a rubbish start to my debt busting, so I am starting again at the end of the month with a vengence!! I have about £50 to last me until end of month and meant to be going to see boyfriend this weekend - he lives 120 miles away so costs me £35
so it will be pasta, beans and soup until next Friday, which is payday, and I have already planned that I will be able to pay at least £300 on my credit cards then!....I will sort this debt, its just so hard sometimes! Have listed a couple of items on amazon and will do some on ebay tonight, although don't own much of value...anyone got any good suggestions for novels? I've tried greenmetropolis without much luck. Anyway, the challenge is on!!
