Happy new year everyone
So glad this challenge has finally started :j
I don't have any payments due to go out until after pay day so the only way i can start today is by using my PAD money to start my total..... wait for it ............... i paid a grand total of £2.76 to my various credit cards today (this included a payment of 1p to Tesco) i couldn't decide which one to pay as i need to re do my snowball calculator as my interest rates keep changing so i thought i'd pay everyone something
I am going to keep my total as everything that i actually pay towards my debts as i keep a running total on my diary every month of what the actual net result is after including the interest as it means i can see just how much at the end of the year i have paid in interest alone! So my £10k target figure is what i am paying with no interest deducted if that makes senseit kinda does to me!
Slow cooker recipe book is on it's way to a few people already. Hope it's useful - I bought it as an ebook on ebay ages ago and then didn't quite get round to using it.They are a good way to save money though so good luck to all.
Loumac i have also pm'd you for the book if you don't mind. I have 2 slow cookers but haven't used them for a while but need to start reducing shopping costs so want to get using them again soon
I have relisted 12 items on ebay tonight so fingers crossed!
Good luck to everyone with this challenge

Can I join Please? I have just over £10,000 in CC and OD debt - I plan to have this paid off this year - so would be good to join a challenge. I have already made January's payments - £1026 - but that isn't included in the 10,000 for me. I am waiting to see if my Child support goes down this month as my eldest turned 18 in Nov - although she is still in school my ex is likely to reduce this if he can( it took me 12 years to get anything at all from him!). If it stays the same I will be able to pay a little more in Jan othewise I will start at pay day at the end of the month!0

Morning all,
Woke up to snow this morning! Will keep me in the house at least, maybe a NSD for me.
I just wanted to thank anyone that has posted on here as reading all the thread yesterday really motivated me. I have calculated that if I can make all the payments I've planned to this year, in 12 months I will have paid £9,370.98 off my debts. :j:j:j So the main plan is now to not accrue any further debts (i.e. DO NOT spend on my credit card!) and try and earn some extra pennies to make bigger payments.
Yesterday I got rid of 3 old mobile phones (£71 - mobile phone exchange), 20 CD's (£11 - music magpie) and listed 6 items on ebay (approx £60 if they all go as hoped). Phew! :T
Good luck in all your own plans and may today be a good start to all of it!

Morning all,
Thanks so much for the receipes Loumac :T they look fab and will get me off to a good start using it. If you already planned to pay out that amount making up the extra £600 might not be that hard, if you break it down its £50 per month! Thats kinda inspired me to look at mine now!
