I go off Natwest more and more every day- I've had so many bad experiences with them, both on the personal and business banking side... having said that, I do have to say their front of store staff in carlisle are all lovely, they are always willing to help out IF they can...but the natwest system seems to work against them!0

It is the only bank i have ever banked with:eek: 20 years! In that time their customer service levels have deteriorated somewhat and more reapidly so over the last 5 years. Getting them to do anything that involves non value added administration is an absolute nightmare:rolleyes: This is not just a go at Natwest but they are the only banking institution that I can relate too apart from Cambridge BS, who so far have been excellent in all respects. Was in debt £23k- Not now (12/07-12/10):T

Hi, Yeah any tips welcome. I am one of the folk waiting till Jan 1st to get started, can't wait though - I've bought Martins book 'thrifty ways for modern days' and have been trying out loads of the ideas. On the downside my kitchen smells like the local chippy - think I overdid it on the vinegar cleaning solution
My OH is wondering what on earth is goin on!

Ebay- I have a pile of car speakers out of my old SRI that are going to make a young ICE head very happy.
Bonus- I got an unexpected bonus on the 14th which i have stashed a bit to get me started.
Flooring- I am owed money from a customer for a job done which will add to my savings afeter Christmas.
I might well actually advertise my services and see if I can get a few jobs done which will earn me about £70-£100 per room.
DHL- I might see if they have any long distance special jobs on offer (delivering) for example specials to Scotland or Belfast, these apparently pay quite well.
Wife- She may well be in for a promotion after Christmas, this will bring in extra money. If not promotion then at least extra hours.
Apart form that save save save. Restructure the financial management of the houseold a little bit to try and budget in some areas a little better. Was in debt £23k- Not now (12/07-12/10):T
