There are some cashback sites that pay you a small amount (1p-3p usually) each day to click through to search for products. If you do a search for daily clicks you'll find lots of threads and information about it.

Not going to make you rich but it soon adds up if you put the time into it.
  • One idea to make some money to get you started, I am sorry for not posting it earlier as it might be difficult to do now on such short notice.

My wife (with my assistance) has been making gingerbread houses for the last couple of years. Each one costs under a fiver to make. Last year we made 10-12 and they sold generally for £25/£30 EACH. We are doing it again this year but not so many due to work commitments. A tidy profit non-the-less and when cooking in bulk doesn't have to take up too much time.

Maybe some of you could plan something similar for easter? (Bonnets with painted eggs and sweeties etc)

  • update....

I have just signed up for my first mystery shopping assignment! Its at a club just down the road from me that I go to all the time! I get £20 reimbursed (free night out) then the fee is £15. If you get the report in by 12pm the day after you get another £5. Its booked in for the 2nd Jan, so a good start I reckon!!

  • Wow, not long now, Christmas is next week!!!!

I don't know how but I've managed to spend waaaaay too much this month what with Christmas shopping and I'm hosting Christmas this year so I'm not looking forward to January when I'm going to be completely skint :( Oh well, on the bright side I should find out if I'm getting a bonus in the next couple of months... Couple of hundred quid towards my credit cards would be nice especially since I just worked out that I'm paying £80 per month interest on the largest one!!!! Can't believe it and my credit isn't that good atm so I can't swap cards :( Oh well, just one more incentive to clear that card :)

With my stats as they are atm I'll need to pay off about £750 per month to make target about £300 of that is money I would normally pay anyway meaning I'll need to find £450 from somewhere every month ?????!!!!!!!

Just around the village. Neighbours, co-workers fellow school run mums.

We are even donating a Ginger bread model of my daughters school to the establishments itself next week! It makes sense in terms of advertising;)
