I hit a little bump the other day. One of my rats hurt his foot and had to got to the vet
£40 for a consultation and a injection. He's looking much happier today though so it was worth it.

Hey shady thanks for the list - Number 2 whoop whoop! although that means theres no hiding!
Still pottering along and wondering why xmas is suddenly here and Im not ready! I got all my presents a while ago in a bid to be prepared but there's only one weekend before xmas and I've got the put my tree up, write all my cards, get extra unexpected presents and food shopping, and Ive got no days off, no evenings free and Im at a wedding on sat! Oh well no rest for the wicked!!!
Last night I was just thinking how nice it will be to relax a bit after xmas, and work won't be so busy, but then my OH volunteered me as hostess on New Years eve!!!! But get tidying as well!
He he rant over and in a way im really looking forward to having a low spend NY for once and still getting to see all my friends. :T
Hows everyone doing?

Yay, finally got a figure from the electric company about how much I will be refunded. I'll get £206 within the next week, I'll also get another £50 in Jan when I switch supplier. In January I'll also get £16 from Quidco and about £40 for some artwork
unfortunately a lot of that will go to keeping me afloat after Christmas but hey it's extra money and that's never bad!

Hi Guys,
Your all welcome!!!:A
I have listed the people in order through the thread in which they have comitted to the challenge. Only took 10 mins, so had to find lots of other insanely silly things to keep me occupied throughout that night, as I do most evenings when the "better" half is at work. :rotfl:
I am going to update my sig on the last day of every month, or as close as I can. My challenge isn't really going to be supplimented by Ebay/Car boots or anything else really. I literally have to "SAVE" the money out of my wages. It's a big ask as I am supporting family also but I am sure the lovely will contribute a little bit too.
Christmas is turning into a very expensive occasion, she has gone bonkers with spending and I have still to get her pressies and her 30th BD presents which conveniently falls on the 28th DEC:eek:
I am on here nearly everynight scouring threads for ways to save money. Even after 2 years of hardened moneysaving I am still finding ways.
I have recently set myself a £30 weekly petrol challange. I might as well be driving miss daisy now. I am putting the jiuce in on a Sunday/ Monday and trying to make it last the whole week. If I don't then I will have to find a couple of hundred (only hopefully) at the start of March for the MOT:mad:Was in debt £23k- Not now (12/07-12/10):T
Did smoke- Not any more (26-02-11):j
I am not perfect but everyone loves a trier don't they??:A0 -

Hello, Can I join in too please?
I have £4,573.60 that I want gone in 2010! My lovely man and I are expecting our first baby on the 3rd of January (not long now!!!:j) and as you can see from my signature, I have been trying to get rid of as much debt as possible since we found out that we were expecting... HOWEVER there is still a lot more to go and I need the support (and kick up the backsides from time to time!) that I hope you guys can provide
I am a newbie and this is my first post so any tips and advise on how everyone is planning to do this challenge would be gratefully received!
So far I have listed 10 items on E-Bay and this morning I have been shuffling around for my broken gold to send away. My big jewellery box is in the loft which being 37 and a half weeks pregnant I darent venture up there but my better half will be home soon and I'll deligate!! so hopefully that will bring in a few extra pennies to knock off the total debt.
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!! :beer:Thermomix Santander Sainsburys Creation Loans Fluid Card Tax Credit OP
