Hi all
I'm still up for it. I have £40 saved so far!!! Woo only £9,960 to go!! have lots of Helen E make up parties (that I do at people's homes - bit like Body Shop parties) lined up for Jan so am going to work really hard to make sure they come off so Ill pay that money straight in the ISA - the plan being that at the end of 2010 I'll have a nice chunk to pay off the debts.
Hope everyone's ok - I'm having a bit of a panic day today as already over my o/d limit, but OH's week's wage going in on Fri I guess.
PS - I'm in SUffolk so anyone who wants a Helen E party should let me know - if you have rich ish mates to buy things, you get free stuff!

Can I join in too?
I'm planning on extra work to find the extra money and making cut backs. I'm hoping to do 2 extra shifts a month, on a sunday as I get paid a lot to work. I'm in charge of the duty roaster, so I will decide when the extra shifts are if people are off on holiday. I'm also planning to work on my holiday time too, I have a holiday booked for september (bad I know but it was booked before my LBM, & I think by the time I've done all this extra work I'm going to need it).
I'm hoping by the end of 2010, I would of paid by car off, & got a good way though my credit card.Total debt £13318  paid £5660 Left to pay £7658 57%

Yay! I had a very good money day. I called up my electric supplier to find out why I'm paying way over the odds... They informed me that I've been paying an estimated bill for about 12 months which was about double what I should have been paying meaning that I can look forward to about £300 being refunded!!! Yippee!!!
I then looked into changing to duel fuel which means I will be paying atleast £10 less for Gas and Electricity than I was paying for just my electricityConssidering I'm really struggling for cash atm this has all left me in a very good mood

Hi to you all,
Can I join this challenge as well - not too late I hope. I have fallen off the MSE bandwagon of late (illness, exams and a bust laptop). I am so disappointed as I seemed to be making a dent into my debts and now I have fallen back into my "bad" ways. Hopefully coming back onto here and joining the challenges again will keep me on track.
My signature is out of date - debt has definitely increased - so I need to go and calculate those again. But my debt is roughly around the £10,000 mark (excluding student loans) so this challenge would be great!!!
It's amazing how much MSE kept me on the straight and narrow..

Hey All,
Not much being going on with me, been applying for lots of w/end jobs but with no luck so far. I think my full-time job puts them off! Anyhoo, got Avon sales leader coming round on saturday to sign me up, looking at the avon thread its an opportunity to make a few quid if I'm willing to put the hours, which I am. At least it will save me giving up my sats and suns if it works out. Looks like I'll be pounding the pavements!! Also will be getting a bonus in xmas pay packet, don't know how much but will try to put some away, have informed all family that its going to be minimal xmas pressies this year.
See y'all soon xxDebt as at Feb 14: £2272.40DFW Nerd no. 1024June Overhaul #260 -

Can I join in as well please? I've got about £30k worth of Debt and taking £10k off that by the end of next year would be great...
I'm determined to start kicking my debt in the behind and get rid of it once and for all!! :T0 -
Can I join pls? My debt is not huge, £2549.21 with Lloyds but aiming to save an other £12.000 for our house, so the aim is to reduce the loan and boost the savings? So I'd be in for £14549.21 till the end of next year if that's ok- I can only save around £1000 a month-so I really need to find ways to boost my income!0
