A staggering £1,500 to add this month
:D:D. (for those new to challenge, this is more than we saved in the WHOLE of 2009 so I am amazed!!)
My OH has had first pay packet from new job, much better paid, but was paid for a few days over a month so doubt it will be this high again. I have had a slight pay increase due to changes in bonus scheme. My money making is going rubbish, but am very busy at work and am really enjoying it at the minute, hope to pick up ebaying again in a couple of weeks.Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

Hi Guys,
Big Apologies firstly for completely dropping off the map for a while. Bit of news to come but I will primarily welcome all the new challengers and apologise, your memberships will be completed soon!
OK...
April was nuts. Worked all over Easter etc, after a few muppets finally got a few good guys in so team is pretty strong strong now at work. Iwent on holiday bank holiday week in May, down to the south coast again, kids had a great time and it was a nice break after a heavy month. Going to centerparks for a week in June with the in-laws and am looking forward to that also (Bar the expense).
A bit of good news that will cushion the expense of that holiday came on the Friday before before i went on the last one. I was just leaving when my boss rang me and stopped me leaving. When i saw him he said that he had reviewed my salary and given me £1500 pay rise and has back dated to the start of April. He also said that it wouldn't affect my PRP rise in April and it will help bump up the % Rating into more hard cash. So now had 10 pay rises in 5 years with another one at the end of June! Awesome
On the downside, I lost my Grandfather on Monday. I am absolutely devastated. I have been up to Manchester to see my dad and will be returning on Moday for the Funeral. He was a special man, a great man.
I will get on with the business of updating your totals and adding the nebies in, will publish some updates soon.
Love,

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. It's because we had another month of paying for some frivoloties. Had garden done, a few birthdays and paid for activities for our upcoming holiday at centreparcs (ruinously expensive:eek:).
So our total paid slid back to £4300 - poooooooo - and we are sowly creeping back up to £5k but around there it will stay until after our hol in August. Rubbish. I need you guys to keep me focused, there is a danger at the minute of just thinking 'aaaargh, we'll be in debt forever, what's the point in trying'. Needs to all be paid by around this time next year when the interest-free periods end.
So I'm not updating my signature but I am still around, cheering you all on (apart from Corona, who I am trying to compete with:p)
Daz, so sorry to hear about your Pops, hope you're okay
Keep posting everyone :TDebt £26k 18/10/140 -

Hi everyone! Not been on for soooo long. I had a few bad months with cars breaking (aahhh) and exams I had to study for etc so I was ignoring the rest of the world.
I finally decided that I had to add everything up and try to get back on track.
I have been readin through some of the posts since I was last on here and they are really encouraging, well done all.
My totals are not good as I let everything slip, however I am back now and I am determined to reduce my debt. 10K may be a bit of a stretch as I have left it so late, but I will try my best.LBM January 2010 Debt £22,239.51 Mortgage £120,99910K in 2010 = £1520.48 15.2% LOAN = £11,819.92 / £1055.35CC1 = £940.57 / £67.06 CC2 = £2994.71 / £156.43CC3 = £3494.00 / £239.93 CC4= £2678.00 / £159.00 Mortgage = £120,999.00 / £0.00 [STRIKE]O/D = £126.81[/STRIKE]Total = £143,238.51:eek: / £1520.48 :j= £141,805.35 1.06%0
