Unfortunately for me, my really bad time for bank charges was 10 years ago.
Neverthelesss, I will spend the rest of my evening watching X-Factor while leafing through my bank statements for the last 6 years. You never know, there may be a few worth claiming back.
I love Martin !!!Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Can someone explain to me why people WITHOUT debt should have to pay more to allow people WITH debt to pay less?
Presumably the banks will reclaim money lost through this action elsewhere. e.g. charges for basic banking.
How about a petition to get the banks to charge MORE to those in debt? that may encourage them to get out of debt quicker!0 -
My OH said to me there will be a million letters sent tomorrow and the banks will do something to stop it.The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

Hmmm... charge people already in debt more money to encourage them to get out of it thereby getting them more in debt and less able to pay.
How would this work, exactly? What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160 -
I know its selfish but I didn't want that program to air until my claim had been paid up just in case!
And what a missed oppurtunity to plug this site with an MSE branded t-shirt! :rolleyes:0 -

What are you on about?
In what way do people or should people not in debt pay less than us in debt?
Reclaiming bank charges isn't just for people in debt. Anyone and everyone who has ever been illegaly charged can claim THEIR money back!0 -
