Curry (odds and ends from yesterday's sort out) in SC. Like the sound of the applecake - will try that once the yummy choc orange cake eaten up (not likely to last long).
Hugs to everyone. Should we all wear eye patches??
JxI could give up chocolate, but I'm no quitter!Shoe love is true loveDebt-free 21/12/09 and determined to stay that way - still DF 09/10/170 -
Thank you all so much for your kindness - you really are a lovely lot aren't you! Jinky - I nearly wet myself at your picture!!!!! That's too funny! Lot of ideas to work on regarding the eye patch. Mmmmmmm! I've decided not to try driving with it being dark. Luckily the school is a one minute walk so I wouldn't have driven there anyway.
My son's parent's evening was amazing. I've just been told that I have the most wonderful, delightful, intelligent and funny little boy who's already caught up with everything he missed. I have to say that I shed a tear! I'm sure his teacher thinks I'm a nutter. Apparently George, DS's best friend, told the teacher that they may as well all go home until DS was back at school because every school needs a boy like him. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!! (he can still be a little bu*ger at home though!!).
Right, on with my list xx0 -
Mudbath - its lovely to hear that about your son. Well done him! I'd rather have devils at home & angels at school(i'm sure the teachers on here will agree too;))
Toots & Anwsmum - glad you had a good time

Good evening lovelies, :wave::wave::wave:
Sorry ive been AWOL ive got 2 out of 3 children at home with piggy flu and not feeling too good myself today although I have managed to pop out and do some shopping to which I was very impressed with as I have done a meal plan for the month and only bought what was on my list wooohooo did spend £152 though but will only need fresh veggies as and when I need them. My freezer is now full of chicken, mince steak, diced beef, beef joint (bought a massive 1 and cut it into 3 joints) pork joint (again bought a massive 1 and cut it into 3) oh and my bottom freezer draw is full of bacon (massive pack and split it into meal size portions and managed to get 9 meal size packs from it) and a large block of cheese cut into chunks. I also bought a sack of potatoes, bread flour and yeast, teabags and coffee so I think ive done really well. Will deffo go to the cash and carry again but will still need to go lidls for baked beans and tinned tomatoes. Decided im not buying bread anymore as I can make it myself or rather the bread maker can do it lol.
Anyway hope everyone is ok not caught up on the thread yet will hopefully be able to catch up later.
HUGZ to all
