Congratulations on your observation Valli! I'm so pleased you did well too. My colleague also got satisfactory with some good elements, but thinks it was better than that so is making her observers look at the work the children produced.

Hugs to poohbear! It's never easy loosing a pet. Thinking of you.

Sorry to hear you couldn't get down to see LadyL rosepink - maybe if you come down at a weekend, I could meet up with you too if 2 flyladies isn't too much?

Had an awful day today - was up all night last night with stomach pains and went in today because we had our school trip - had stomach ache all through it and thought I may be sick on the coach, so told headteacher that I didn't feel well enough to go to the staff meeting tonight. I told her that I'd been up all night with stomach pains and I had only come in today because I didn't want to let anyone down with the trip, and that I was shattered. Her response was that everyone who goes on school trips gets tired! I told her that I was tired because I'd been up all night with stomach pains (she obviously didn't listen to that part). She then asked if it was a virus or period pains, and I said I didn't know what it was, but it wasn't period pains. She made me feel really bad about not going, and said that if I wasn't better in the morning, to give her a call! She was really nasty about it, and I ended up crying on my colleagues again. Called the union when I got home, who said that if things don't improve, they will assign me a caseworker. They also told me to call the LEA, so I did, and finally managed to get through to the lady there. She was really nice, but said that I can't really resign until April 31st, but if needs be, I can get signed off by the doctors for the majority of that term if it is as stressful still. Called doctors and booked a telephone appointment for tomorrow at 10.30 so won't go in tomorrow - still have tummy ache and a headache now too. Called supply agency who said they'd happily take me back in April even if school give me a bad reference as they know I'm a good teacher. Called Mum and partner too. Mum was going to come over after work but has decided she better not in case it is catching as she doesn't want to pass it on to her friend who's having chemo or my nan.

Sorry for waffling again, just wanted to fill you all in.

    sexymouse xx

Sexy - big hugs sweetie but I'm proud of you for being so proactive. I chatted to a TA I know today, she has been signed off for 9 weeks due to stress (head and deputy bullying her at school) and says she is not going back at the end of it.

    Pooh
huge hugs on such a sad day

Mudders - don't move anymore wardrobes!

Greenbee - my plants have arrived, thank you so much

Time to do dinner and then football run

Had a much better day today. No sign of BD or CBA :T

Hope noone else has become afflicted, hugs to you all, I will try and catch up in a bit.

Blitzed upstairs this morning so as well as main bedroom I also cleared floordrobe in all children's rooms, dusted them (the rooms not the children LOL) and hoovered.
Had a big clearout of DH's bedside cabinet, found 14 novels he has started (how can he do that ), receipts from 2005, about 50 magazines, and quite a few beasties :eek: I'm not telling him I've done it, and he won't anyway :rotfl:

Then a friend popped in for a coffee and then I went out to meet another friend for lunch and purchase a few more Xmas bits. Really must start wrapping them soon. Just time to pop home to put purchases away and get washing out of the machine before doing school run.

Since getting back from school I have:
    - posted 2 letters
    - cleaned windows in bedroom
    - wiped down doors and paintwork in bedroom
    - folded up some washing and put some of it away
    - put winter duvet back on DH's bed
    - put hoover away
    - done tea
    - tidied up from tea
    - loaded DW
    - swept floor
    - decluttered load of stuff from bedroom to study / bin
    - washed up packed lunch things
    - got DS ready for beavers
    - tidied playroom

    Still need to:
    - eat tea
    - make packed lunches (bread frozen)
    - put DW on (stuff still to go in from my tea which is not eaten yet)
    - put remaining dry washing away
    - hang out next load of washing
    - get ready to go out :j:j

Have declared it wine oclock as I am out tonight so I am going to have glass of vino and my dinner and let the girls play til DH gets home :D

    Thanks Greenbee :D

all seems to be working now  glitch in The Matrix ooooooh long leather coats....

SM I'm so sorry you're still having the most awful time, I agree with Dusty about how fab it is you being proactive :T but, the sooner you are away from that place the better IMO, you don't need it. Look after yourself and I hope the stomach pains are just stress or something equally fixable x

I've set the DW away, wiped the benches, put the TD on and teenies put some of his clothes in the washer....swish....swill it goes.

I have come to a couple of conclusions today.

The first one, is that I like the new Robbie Williams song
The second one, is that, I dont think I will ever be able to keep up with this thread :(, on a day that I have to work. Ah well such is the trade off that is life eh

I finished my appeal thingy ma bob, for work :j, so I am very chuffed at that.
And of course, it put me, on my soap box about no end of things , so I am off into the kitchen to sort it right oot :D

However, part of the soap box trade off, is I forgot to go to the chicken lady on the way home from work :(, and I didn't have enough time to go to and buy shiny sparkly jewels :(:(

    Right, kitchen.............here I come :D

well I have terrible tummy ache... and a runny bum... and to top it off and make things 'colourful' AF turned up.. so I am putting the children to bed then putting myself to bed.. I have half a curtain pole up thanks to OH.. he is a star really :D

I am sure it is either related to the dozen sprouts I ate or the chicken pie.. either way.. I feel gruesome.

kittens doing great.. bouncing about and being merry.. silly things!

Off to declutter children to bed then I can die in peace!!

Dinner was like an episode of butterflies tonight!

Just going to clear up whilst DS3 is on the wii and then we have his lines for the school play to practise and the trumpet.

Really struggling for christmas ideas for him so anyone 7 year old boy - not crafty, constructiony, cars etc. Only really likes sport and the wii.
