ajmoney My cousin in Canada had exactly the same problem as you. His e mail was hijacked and all his contacts were pestered in e mails.

He changed his password and it was hijacked again two days later! As a result of all the junk since his account was hijacked I have now changed my e mail address. He has kept his and hasn't had any bother since:)

The problem is likely to be a virus rather than a hacker/spammer, but you need to contact your service provider and also get yourself over to the techie board for some advice, as they're very good at this kind of thing.

Greenbee Thanks, I have just posted to the techies

Suggest they find an independant installer to do the work for them then.. if they can't maybe you could find someone to send them an invoice.. they said they would do the owrk on a set date.. and you planned your days around them.. just let them know you know there are alternaivess.. obviously your custom isn't as important as their company image wants people to believe.

The current hearth sounds... dated.. they priced for a new one and therefore should get on with the work.. I'd be doing big complaining!

I'll tell them that if they don't do what I want I'll send you in to do my complaining :D;):p Having seen grateful's post, I'm going with 'if the hearth's here, fit it, if it isn't, refund me' and then I'll get someone else (the builder who is hopefully coming down to do all the odds & ends that need doing) to replace the hearth at a later date.

  • Had a bery busy few days so I've not been on here or done any flying. Consequently all the tidying I did on Sunday has been undone while I've been out!

Anyway, we've got our new cat and we've called her Minnie. She's really lovely but very thin. We're trying to feed her up but she's got a bit of the runs so we're not sure if its just because her tummy isn't used to being fed regularly. I'd be inclined just to give her water for 24 hrs but she's so thin that I don't want to starve her. She's very friendly and loves being fussed over. We've not introduced her to our other cat yet so I think we'll have to do that this week. Might get DH to do that tonight while I'm at work.

Haven't even looked at the list yet so I suppose I'd better do that then try to do a bit in the kitchen while I cook tea. Won't get that much done though as I need to leave for work in 2 hours.

Not had chance to read back but I gather Mudbath has hurt her eye...hope it's all OK...I like Carol's idea about the glittery eye patch!

ajmoney...I've had the same thing happen to my yahoo address. I opened a new email account and although I've kept the old one and changed the password I deleted all the contacts from the old email so that nothing more could be sent out. I've only kept the other one open while I get round to letting everyone know that I've changed it.

    Hugs for you Poohbear. x

Suppose I'd best move off the armchair if we're going to eat at some point tonight.

Gosh this is a busy thread!

Okay, day two and levels one and two done. Actually it was quite good that we are in the bedroom today as the cat brought a bird in and there were feathers everywhere :o Fortunately my cleaner/carer comes on a wednesday, so she did levels one and two for me

Then we did a big clear-out of the attic bedroom (aka dumping ground) so lots of bags to go to the charity shop and the tip :D

Oh and christmas pressies ordered from argos and thorntons off my extras list. Didn't get the rest done because my son turned up with a load of paperwork that he needed help with, but it was important and it is all done and ready to post tomorrow.

So a productive day for me :T
