    Hi :j
Triker - that's a seriously GOOD cake. Put some choc fudge icing on top (very sickly, but yummy!). Thank you. And I only used the cheap value marmalade from Mr S's. Really straightforward recipe.

I could give up chocolate, but I'm no quitter!

    Hi all
Well, I've had a good day - DD is going back to school tomorrow as temperature normal (at the moment, will review first thing).

Clean through the cupboard full of food.. what needs using soon? Not needed - have just restocked after a use-up week.

Not bad really, considering my sister and nephew were over this afternoon.

Have a good evening everyone - hugs to all who need it, good luck vibes to anyone waiting for news, and congratulations to anyone who has received good news/results.

I'm off now to carry on with knitting DDs winter jacket (the pattern calls it a coat, but I think it would struggle in the depths of winter). It's quite a complicated aran pattern....keeps me out of mischief!

    Have a good evening
    Take care
    D.

Triker nomnomnom!!! Thank you for posting that sounds yum!!! Pleased work went ok & you aren't being chucked in at the deep end.
Kazm my weetabix bronies didnt rise at all :o
mumofjusttwo hope your DS is better soon
    MissH well done
    3tabbycats Yay!!
Awww Mudders.... see I'd have chanced it :rotfl: animall or DP....hmmmm not a tricky choice haha
JillD sorry unattended year 6s shouldn't be answering calls, I'd probably complain myself but Crafty's way seems much better to get her onside. Kick the BD you will get it sorted before he moves, don't worry x (Oh and your DH isn't unusual) Have you been in touch with parent partnership in your area?
embb sorry I know it doesn't look like the easiest way but I'd go for the move out too!
Hex we've just bought some foam tape made by Stormguard (they do E and P profile for different depths http://www.stormguard.co.uk/products/ADS/m/EPDME.htm ) to go on the windows from B&Q fitted it today to 2 windows and the difference is amazing! My friend who had glazing issues found it cheaper to get these http://www.diyplastics.com/secondaryglazing/upvchorizontalslidingsystem.htm than get them fixed/replaced.
Quillion my sons are like that usually, DS1s getting more greedy now but DS2 just says Transformers game and that is all. We have a Subaru (well it's DPs) and there is loads of Subaru toys you can get, clothes too.
carlberggal, ((hugs)) however many men do think practical stuff & what they loose in every situation. I was just chatting about unexpected babies today, friend of DPs at work was a Grandad at 30, his DD was born when he was 13.....he could be a G Grandad well before 50 so definately could be even trickier.

DS2s parent interview, yuk, done & out of the way. Focusing on what your child isn't so good at = urgh!
Washer load x 2 inc one which almost dried on the line
Collected DPs new suspension springs, which I will no doubt be roped in to help fit in the cold, brr!
Unpacked 6 boxes :D DP was shocked the difference in the little area since he went to bed
Cleaned the TV unit cupaboards before I started to fill them
Kids fed & watered (I started typing this at 5.30pm! Demanding monsters!)
Treated mould on LR windows & DP cleaned tops of windows
Filled DW after emptying & cleaning filter
Sorted a box for the garage (caravan stuff) will take tomorrow as dark/cold/wet now
    Returned parcel

    Not bad so far.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
