well DS is not well and sitting next to me and VERY hot. BLess him. He doesn't seem to want me to do anything. A good excuse for some cuddles but the house isn't getting done.

Had my sign language course today. It is really interest but we have an exam in a couple of weeks :eek:
Plan n doing some of the kitchen when DS and DD are asleep. Hope they go to sleep alright. it isn't looking too untidy so hopefully won't t be too long. Gave it a tidy when I did my cooking on Sunday.

Any one have an easy recipes to use up some Bramley apples. I have about 7!!

May do the ironing tonight while I watch a little TV

Is anyone else having trouble trouble with posts. My subscribe thread shows no new message and in new post there are NO new posts ??

Triker - that recipe looks lovely. I have a word file with all the recipes I get off here with whoever posted it. So now I have Triker's chocolate orange cake. A few weeks ago my mum took DD to a cafe where she had lemon cake and DD asked - 'is this sexymouse's lemon cake' as she loves that recipe. My mum thought she'd gone mad!!!

I'm just going to do a bit of an s/s and wash the dog towels, floor cloths etc. I really must get an early night!

LL - :wave: I was offered the cutest little cat today - 12 year old torti who's owner didn't want it anymore. I was so tempted but I know DH would divorce me (almost worth doing it:rotfl::rotfl:). She was such a quiet little thing though I don't think it would be fair subjecting it to spotty, dotty, potty puppy who'd want to be its new best friend!!! I managed to find it at home with one of my mum's neighboursb but I wanted it {mudbath has a tantrum!}.

Had a nice long sleep this afternoon, head feels ok for now, so once dinner has settled I am going to pack some more:A

Honestly, they're easy. No pattern needed, no fuss or frills. I'm tempted to say that if you gave me the measurements for your windows I'd do them over Christmas, but somehow I don't think I'll have time!

Sorry but I'm not in this week
DD has Swine Flu and a chest infection
DS has Swine Flu
DH is just feeling very yucky

But on a brighter note - the dogs ok!!

Just about managing to keep on top of daily stuff what with running around getting prescriptions, making up juice by the gallon and clearing up tissues and taking temperatures [not gone below 100 in 4 days but has got to 104 on 2 occasions]. Tamiflu is yucky to taste and DD is really struggling with having it and the amoxycillin and puffer twice a day - bless her - she's fed up with it all.

I'll try to keep up with the thread but in spirit only

Been to welsh class and feel a bit better about it now...should do, just paid £80 for it!!!! Will keep it up though....
