well, flippin 36 has really been far more informative. I'm still staggared over the links about moisture v protein. I need to book mark them, because I truely believe this is the key for me for more ''reliable'' hair! (I've often wondered why moisturiing and repair stuff was different, I thought my hair needed everything, :o)

Hi, just a quick update, I've stuck with this and it seems to be getting better, I dont have time to go back through the thread but I seem to remember someone saying it doesn't look great and then looks better again after a while, well, today I have used Tesco Coconut conditioner only and blow dryed my hair straght, no other products and it looks really really nice, I am having a very good hair day:TThis method dosent seem to work for me if I leave my hair to dry naturally but I might have another ago with that in a week or so, I went to Morrisons today and bought the value conditioner (23p:rotfl:)as I have shifted through the Tescos one so quickly I needed more, have to agree with flippin36, it is rather deflating buying the value stuff when there are all those other lovely products but then I felt my hair and felt a bit better and rather smug at my 23 pence bargain, thats what I keep telling myself anyway;)
Thank you for this site Martin
The time for change has come
    Good luck for the future

Does this work for people who have bad dandruff? Or will not using dandruff products make it worse?

I occasionally get dandruff. For me there has been no real change with CO washing. Its maybe slightly better. I never used dandruff stuff anyway, as it makes no difference to me, and has never suited my hair....if I am flakey I just make sure I wet and rinse through well or do a conditioner wash daily, to remove flakes.

DH has psoriasis, and his scalp is significantly improved since c/o ing with occasional shampoos.

I know exactly what you mean - I know it's just the pretty packaging and marketing, but I can't help it either :o I know MrsE is worse than me too :D:rotfl:

    Guilty as charged:o

OK, well I did the stretch test tonight, and my hair was....perfect!
Which meant I was stumped...I only have conditioner for hair with issues, rofl.

I used the same one as last time, that was mistakenly left here for fine hair, and my hair is just so happy. :)
