Lately I have really begrudged paying my council tax/water rates as they have reduced pick ups on the bins to once a fortnight and once a month for garden waste and recycling. there is also a persistant leak in the road and also the street lights have been on all day and off all night! I mean honestly! What are they doing for our money

I might add I begrudge paying ALL my bills too! but i think that's normal:money:Official DFW Nerd 071/£2 saver=£10

I bought some BOGOF pizzas, they worked out a pound each, and I put them in the freezer. OH asks 'what's for tea?' and I gleefully tell him about BOGOF pizzas in freezer. He reappears with said pizzas, and I ask, rather peeved, 'Oh, do we need one each?'
Next evening, he asks 'what's for tea - or are we saving even more money by not eating?' :rotfl:
Oh my God! I thought my OH was the only one who did that sort of thing! You'e all pleased with yourself for getting enough pizza for two evenings and then he goes and cooks both for one meal! I do get resentful about that kind of thing!
I'm generally resentful about spending ALL money but the one that really bugs me is buying milk for work as I seem to be the only one who bothers to buy it and yet the whole team use it. Grrrrrr  ..........
Gosh! Aren't I tight!!!

I have to agree with you LA, lately at work, we seem to have had one collection after another and all these £1's add up!!!Its nice to be important but more important to be nice!0 -
For me, it's bottles of diet coke or whatever when out - so I try not too ! Also, food and drink in cinemas; I like to smuggle them in !

Going to the dentist....haven't been for about 4 years because I resent paying £17 to be told my teeth are healthy! My mum says oooohhh you should go anyways you don't know that. No way, I'd know if I needed something doing! I know there are more I will come back later and add them... Have champagne tastes...but got a beer budget!!:beer:0

Yrp dentists and eye tests are a good one. PAying to be told your healthy, or paying to be told you need to spend even more money because you're NOT healthy!"People who "do things" exceed my endurance,
