I resent paying a £40 water bill each month and then being told there's a drought so I have to restrict my water usage. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

LookingAhead wrote:I resent buying any food which is in a 'packet' (I don't include tinned tomatoes or beans in that...or spices).
I also feel physical pain if I have to buy a bottle of water anywhere.
I also want to scream if public transport is so CR @ P that I have to spend on a taxi.
I'm also getting a bit wound up at work because they insist on having the air conditioning on all the time so in the height of Summer I will need to buy a cardigan (I have none suitable for work) or jacket. Why don't they just turn it off for a while and save some energy for God's sake!
Last but not least, I now really resent having to spend money on days or nights out that are kind of 'forced' on you...you know like you're expected to be there or you're letting the side down.
Do you know what? I am in a right old grump tonight! I think it was the leaving collection that came around today which wiped out all my last bit of cash. Yet ANOTHER bloody collection. They also **** me off at the moment.....

:T :T :T :T yeah, another drama queen like me!!!!
I hated the way my old office always had the toilet windows open in the middle of winter - no chance of nodding off in there in the afternoon!
I hate the price of diesel most - £11 return trip to work, have to go in twice this week!
And the way just when I can see light at the end of the tunnel it turns out it was my grill exploding so will need to spend £300 on new oven!!!! (Can't get part to repair and can't cope with electric oven, anyway would resent the wasted money while it heated up!!!
And speaking of ovens - I resent the 'fortune' it costs for the fan running in the oven to cool down after oven is switched off - have started leaving door open as soon as take dinner out.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
Mortgage Balance = £0

I am another one who hates paying for most things, i am getting a bit mean, but i am no scrooge, well not yet, LOL.
I resent the prices of food and water out, so i always carry some with me for the kids so that when they say i'm hungry i pull a homemade cake or sarnie out of my bag. They are now so used to taking a packed lunch everywhere that they are actually beginning to look forward to it.
I also hate paying full price for any clothes when i know that sooner or later there will be a sale on.
I hate paying full prices for places to take the kids when i know there are so many free things to do, or ways to have fun really cheaply if you really search and prepare.
I hate hidden extra costs that suddenly make the price soar.Success means having to worry about every thing in the world......EXCEPT MONEY. Johnny Cash

I resent paying for anything that is over-priced, which is pretty much everything in this country.
Umm...the novelty of money-saving isn't wearing off - I'm definitely getting worse!
