Now you're a DFW, what things do you most resent spending money on?

Since bursting onto the DFW scene, I resent spending money on most things but after spending a day out yesterday and thinking I was being really good by packing a picnic - after demolishing the picnic, OH wanted a sausage roll from the kiosk on the beach. Rather begrudgingly (well, very TBH) I shelled out £1.20 for one. £1.20!!!! I'm still feeling the pain knowing I could get a pack of six for that!!!!!

What things do you most resent spending your money on now you're on the path to debt freedom?
Its nice to be important but more important to be nice!

    Same here Ms London!!!

I HATE spending money now! infact I do everything I can not to spend money, by dodging those "Sponsor me" forms at work, declining a night out with work colleagues ( social life busy enough)turning the tv up so loud that the kids cant hear the ice- cream van doing it's 2nd & 3rd round in the evenings, and lets not even start on the tax deducted from my salary! ( yikes)

I resent my OH spending money on anything! And I mean anything, I make him justify every penny he spends!! I, meanwhile, went and spent an absolute mint on clothes over the last few weeks but that's ok cos I spent it. Poor DH, I know it's double standards...........:o

Anything I don't need junk food, shoes (I snapped the heel), school trips. bus fairs (which have gone up again) and much more.
Although I like spening it on wine and cookie dough ice cream.
