Now you're a DFW, what things do you most resent spending money on?

Bottled water! I always try and take a bottle filled from the tap with me but on warm days (they do happen now and then) I nearly always run out and have to spend 50p in the corner shop. Ditto food on the run."People who "do things" exceed my endurance,

I hate spending money on anything accept paying off my credit card but this barclaycard is really annoying as it'll only let me pay off £100 a month online. This means i'm saving as much as I can for the month to send a cheque off next week to throw at it. I prefer to pay of £20 here and £10 there though, as it's nice to see it come down.January budget

I resent spending money on anything.
Some items because I just get a little bit low and spend it on things I'll never need.(Big cookie!)
Some items I physically have to buy but yet they're so god darn expensive (Yes Tampax I'm talking to you!!!!)
Some items because I just feel like an idiot, I spent it first time round, now I've got to pay it all back, my own fault but grrrr!(i.e the CC bill!)Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

probably not the right time or place to bring this up but try this instead of tampax and save a fortune: http://www.mooncup.co.uk/

Im so glad someone else has had this experience. I have been paying fivers off here and there under my "free fags" plan. After paying over 20 quid in 2 lots, they told me I coudnt make any more payments till my new billing cycle.
I am NOT amused by this and wondering if its against the law?
And back to OP. Pretty much anything I resent paying for, but alcoholic drinks are the main culprit
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Loads of things now I'm a DFW! My train fare, bottled water if I get stuck without water somewhere, stamps, work clothes, rounds in pubs (have to though...), the list is endless.
My favourite things are: no conductor on the train so no ticket to buy, free chilled water at work, the Metro free newspaper and finding odd coins to add to my change tin!Debt at highest May 2006: £27,472.24

Petrol mostly. Why oh why does it disappear so quick?Sometimes I feel like a pelican. Whichever way I turn, I've still got an enormous bill in front of me.0

why don't you set up payments from your own bank account? that's what i do, and they don't refuse the money.MFW Newbie - #17. (#116 in 2019)
