scaldyflash wrote:It's probably been asked before but does anyone know if a T-Mobile sim can be used in an easymobile phone without unlocking ?
Right, this is a general answer for people purchasing Easymobile phones rather than to the OP.
Generally, if you purchase an easymobile/virgin phone you will not be able to use a T-Mobile sim without having it unlocked, but you can use an easymobile/virgin sim in a T-Mobile phone without having it unlocked. The reason for this is T-mobile are the service provider and will always receive revenue regardless of which sim you use, whereas the other two don't as they rent from T-Mobile.0 -

Hi
I am looking for a cheap but easy to use Pay As You Go mobile for my parents.
They don't need all the bells and whistles, just the ability to make the odd call now and again.
My concern is that I know they will not be making many calls, so I would want a phone that you can carry the balance over at the end of each month.
Does anybody know any good deals, including money already on the phone.
I also use Quidco so I have that option as well.
Thanks
MartinBeen there, done that, now I want to do it cheaper!!0 -

I am in work so can't check but think the Which magazine recommended the Nokia 1100 as cheap, functional phone. If I remember will check tonight.

Hi can someone please move this back onto the "I Wanna" board as originally posted, as it's getting no responses on the mobile board.

Maybe people can't interpret what sort of phone you want.zak1976 wrote:Hi can someone please move this back onto the "I Wanna" board as originally posted, as it's getting no responses on the mobile board.

Try looking at the Vodafone website, or a number of well-known dealers' websites or shops.
There is a thread about cheap payg phones not far away with over 60 responses. You should be able to find it even if this doesn''t get merged on to it0 -
Recently got a Virgin mobile for a friend @ £22.49 which included £25 call credit! Unfortunately that's not on anymore. Looking for something cheap. The phone's not important really.0
