aww, that savage garden song is lovely, my little boy was obsessed with it as a toddler and made us play it over and over for hours every day lol! another one he liked was aerosmith's 'don't wanna miss a thing' (i thing that's what it's called anyway).
ask hubby if there are any soppy rock balads he likes. i don't know how old he is, i'm in my 30's so we had loads of really good cheesy 80's rock bands to choose from lol! what about extreme? i can't remember the title of their song though lol! more than words? bon jovi have done lots of ballads, or aerosmith. we didn't have music for our ceremony but hubby chose marillion's 'lavendar's blue' for our first dance. i also really liked sting's 'when we dance' but hubby said i wasn't allowed to choose in case i chose something by the cure lol! also, i think 'every breath you take' is the most romantic song ever recorded :-)52% tight0 -
'I do, I do, I do' by Abba is a good, fun song to walk down the aisle to.
'From this moment' by Shania Twain is more romantic and very apt if you listen to the lyrics - not to metion the fact she is running round in a wedding dress in the video!
'You're still the one' by Shania Twain (again!) is a great one if you've overcome obstacles together.Watch out people. You don't know what lurks around the corner for you![/SIZE]0 -
Last day today, we are off tomorrow for a spa day to chill out before the big day! It's been a funny week, my husband to be has had a cold and ear infection so has been off work all week. We are both very excited and so looking forward to Saturday and our honeymoon.
We picked our songs I am walking in to 'Call of the Search' by Katie Mellua and walking out to 'Perfect day' by Lou Reed. Both songs are lovely.
Thanks for all your suggestions and good luck messages x0
