Hi, just wanted to update that i got the cashback cheque today, off to bank it in a min.
Why 16 days no idea, but dont care why really long as it gave me time to send in correct billl as i stupidly sent it in to quick originally and sent the wrong one in, what a do-nut. But all sorted.

Thanks for finishing this thread off ilovemydebts, good to hear it's all sorted.

Does that mean your cheque arrived in about 15 days from the day we confirmed a valid claim? I'm still keen to find out how long it's taking currently and MJ didn't reply when I asked him how long his took to arrive.

    Thanks,

    More quality customer service.

Which company (apart from cpw and its online outfits) would actually go onto a forum like this and look for confrontation?

Sorry, you misunderstand; I wasn't looking for confrontation, just wondering if MJ had forgotten.

    Very good Ben

I'm pleased you've taken an interest in this thread because we can now sort out what the situation is ...Is ilovemydebts right in thinking you are now giving people an extra 16 days to submit a claim when they get confused with which bill to send in
ie. 30 days is now going to be 46 and 60 days is going to be 76 days ????

Or is it as we thought just the fact that she was well within the time limit ???

By the way as you know my cheque took 35 days if you remember ;)
It's not just about the money

As one who is so hot on forum etiquette, (bearing in mind you give posters who irritate you just 3 posts to toe your line before you say you will ask to get them banned), surely (if you merely wanted to post a gentle reminder), your follow up to see if he has forgotten should have been posted in the relevant thread where you discussed this with him?

Where did you ask? I've never received any payment within the timscale of the t&c I signed up to, as I've repeatedly made quite clear. usually about 50+ days instead of the TWENTY-EIGHT (THAT'S what's specified in MY t&c despite your attempts to change the wording retrospectively).

On a separate note, soon after I attempted to assist you in changing your approach by actually setting down some principles (you didn't do anything at all on the first so wasn't much point in trying any others, many of which you are sorely in need of) another "happy customer" has started a thread of precisely that (principle number 1). As always your response is smoke and mirrors and you won't honour what was a clear misrepresentation on yuor website. According to you prior to that, there had been pnly two occurrances (despite my prodcuing two more). Now there are five that we know about and your response is as genuine as always.

if indeed this company is deserved this appraisals, then why cant they make their cashback claims easier.
why cant they define what date and what month bill you need to send to (like p4u and DAP does)
why do their cashback T&Cs are still in small print that only a solicitor can understand (for comparison do {or plz ask someone who did} a cashback deal with DAP or P4U then it would be obvious how easy with them to claim a cashback)

There is no smoke without fire.
Since they've been bad to so many people, they do get a bad feedback.

    yes, it's me again...

you didn't 'attempt to assist'. You DEMANDED. You didn't get the response that you wanted on your own dedicated thread: Please don't hijack this thread ' on a separate note', with what will surely turn out to be a vain attempt to provoke the rep into placating all your personal grievances.
  • That'll be the day. When the rep chooses to create nonsense (like you) and puts my name on it he'd better expect my response. Look up "placating" - if you can find it you'll find it doesn't mean smoke and mirrors.
