joined the forums only yesterday and has only posted on this subect about 12 times.
Up to then probably no one had heard of Neteller.com.
It now appears he/she has a vested interest and therefore this is posted on the wrong board.
Board guides take note (if there are any)
You are right, I joined yesterday specifically to tell everybody about Net+ card from Neteller. Does this make you happier?0 -

Usually people that do things like that have a connection with the company/product involved.
Of course you wouldn't have any connection with the company, would you?0 -
I am interested in a referral to Neteller from anyone who can do this. I have sent a pm to nbaki82 with my email. If anyone else can offer me a referral, please send me a pm as I do not want to post my email address here.0

...You can sign up yourself and get nothing, whereas, if you sign up with somebody's referral you get EUR 8. ...
At least you've stopped claiming that anyone accepting your invitation would get EUR16 but you're still propagating misleading info in that EUR8 is the maximum available - the actual amount being 10% of the initial deposit.
Your posts would appear to be primarily for personal gain as they don't convey any accurate, useful information. I won't support your unprincipled greed.0 -
It's time to complain to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) in the UK again.
RyanAir are only allowed to charge extra for credit/debit card bookings without showing the charge on adverts because they offered the free Visa Electron option.
Now this is being withdrawn, RyanAir's case is not watertight, and the ASA will probably stop RyanAir from advertising without the normal £5 credit/debit card fee add-on (pre-funded cards will not be regarded by the ASA as the Visa Electron was).
This will stop all RyanAir's shenanigans.
If only every poster of this thread completes the ASA's online complaint form (3 minutes job) then the ASA have a good case to act.
So go to www. asa.org.uk/asa/how_to_complain/complaints_form/Complaints+Step+1 .htm (now, complete the complaints form, and then we won't have to worry about RyanAir changing the rules again in six months, and us all running around like headless chickens.

Why on earth not? Why would the ASA take a different view? It is a way of paying Ryanair that allows consumers to avoid the card-payment charge so it can be correctly claimed that this charge is not mandatory.
Admittedly, this method of payment is not necessarily free of its own charges but those charges are incurred under a contract that does not involve Ryanair.
Ryanair's legal team make sure that their claims are just the right side of the law. Their headline pricing is widely recognised to be near-meaningless for many of their customers but the existence of this thread indicates that it is possible for consumers to actually pay the headline price and no more: possible - not necessarily easy!0 -

Spot on, surprising how many people don't believe they really can fly for 1p, £1 or whatever. I was in my factory canteen and heard some lads discussing an Easyjet ad which read "from £10 single" the responses were "yeh £10 out but £300 back" and "yes but once you add on all the extras it will be £xxxx," so the Great British public have wised up to these "bargains" but as you say they are there IF you know how to do it0 -

Sure, I will refer you to the card. And for all that are interested, I don't work for the company. You are free to do your own research and as far as you can see there is no better option for prepaid MasterCard there than Neteller, so instead of saying thanks for the advice, people are taking about some non-sense. As for the referral, it is also a two way street, not only good for the referrer.0 -

Using it to cut Ryanair return sector fares and to avoid Ryanair fees is an added bonus. e.g. Ryanair return sector fare of £100 is only €100 if booked separately. I got €1.10 for my £1 when I topped up the Caxton EURO card, so the £100 fare only cost me £90.91, saving £9.09 in addition to saving the £5 Ryanair fee.
Hi,
I often have to purchase Ryanair outbound and return flights separately when I fly from Stansted into one French airport (Limoges) and back from another (Rodez).
Although flights originating in France are priced in Euro, Ryanair convert it to GBP at their own exchange rate before the transaction is completed and so the amount charged to my Electron card is in GBP, not Euro.
Does anyone Ryanair's exact policy on this? For example how do they decide which currency to charge in (country of residence? country of card issuer? currency of card account?) and what exchange rate do they use?
The answers might affect which pre-paid card(s) I need to replace my Electron card.
Thanks,
John0
