A virtual card would be moneysaving for those who find a great fare and want to book today and don't yet have a physical card.
From my experience it's not fast enough for that. To get a card (either virtual or physical) you need an "extended" account, which means supplying identification documents electronically. I signed up on Wednesday and I'm still waiting for my ID to be processed so I can order a card.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0 -

Obviously, Neteller wants to check your identity. I also had to scan my statement three times, because, they didn't accept black and white copy, then the required that all four corners should be visible, but then finally opened the account. Answers were within 24 hours though.
Card arrived quickly. I like the design too.0 -

Ok, didn't realise there is a time lag.
So which is the quickest card to get?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -

Which card did you sign up for benjus?
I haven't ordered one yet - I have to get past the identification stage first. I was following the links for the physical card though. Apparently receiving and activating a physical card is one of the ways to get an extended account.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks

Are you talking about the ICE card though, or Neteller?
Oh sorry - Neteller. It looks like the closest thing to having a bank account with an Electron card as I do at the moment.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks

My Entropay card arrived today ordered on Tuesday 1st. I did already have an Entropay account for the virtual Electron card so maybe that sped things up. Valid till 11/11
Wow in comparison Entropay, Neteller's Net+ is much, much cheaper. Entropay charges you to load, almost 5%, whereas, Net+ is free to load and free to spend. Imagine if you have to load 300, you end up paying 15 quid, which is already more than the Ryanair charge. What's the point then?0
