that is lovely! Congratulations to you all. How was the birth?"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee."0 -

A bit traumatic to say the least! > went into a birthing pool to start with then used the entinox in the pool . got out of the pool and sat on a bed with the entinox, but this wasnt enough. She then had 2 lots of pethadin which was better for her but this soon wore off. We were then transferred to a larger hospital because baby was face up rather than down and she was really struggling with the pain by then too. Ended up having an epidural, which I wasnt happy about atall!, but to be honest It took away the pain for her so I guess it was better. Where she was so tired from the long labour, her contractions were small and irregular and she really was struggling to push little one out. The registrar came in and said if she hadnt pushed little one out, he may have to use forceps or vontuse to get him out. He then came back in 20 mins later and said she will have to a cesarian! . Just after he said that I looked at my wife and shook my head - no way was she having one of those we thought. Luckily she managed to push him out with a small episiotomy (not sure if thats correct)and there he was . MY PRIDE AND JOY:T0 -
