Well, given the failure to adhere to previous requests, acknowledgements and attempts at reasonable contact, you could be forgiven.0

I have contacted the service provider for this package to illustrate the absolutely terrible service you offer and the ludicrous promotion of 'Best mobile seller 2008' (or whatever it is) as a) it's out of date and b) my experience is otherwise.
You are correct it is out of date and one of the claims to fame that Ben keeps banging on about
It's rather worthless however when you look at the winners and the relationship to winning an award and sponsoring the evening or purchasing tables for the evening  £4k and £6k for a table for 10 :rotfl:

In the interests of fairness & clarity, I think the 'too late to cancel' was more referring to 'cancel the despatch/delivery' and not the contract, as that's not referred to explicitly.
It is standard practise by them to make it as difficult as possible to cancel an order which is why unlike most firms they don't include returns instructions with the delivery and make you spend hours trying to get instructions on the phone etc etc.Originally Posted by delosfive

Best I just decline delivery when it's attempted then, I guess.
I wish they'd just bothered to answer the number they provided, or the emails they recommended I write on, or perhaps even the 'tickets' raised when I wrote independently, which remain ignored.
This 'after the horse has bolted' attempts to publicly resolve matters as a PR move, whilst at least is something, really isn't winning me over too greatly. It's a shame. I really do my best to give every business a fighting chance to win it back.0 -
I managed to get responses to my various problems with them. Usually the answers consisted of "we appologise for our mistake but tough luck!". Silk and the others are correct - forget the rep and deal with things yourself. It's quicker and truer and much more effective.0

Well if the 'Company Rep' has any standard return information he'd like to post here, I'm sure it would extinguish all doubt and suspicion as to their motives. A return address, method of return, etc. surely would be beneficial to all parties both now and for future.

Returns go to our Wednesbury warehouse, and can only be accepted (usually) if accompanied by a valid Returns Number. To obtain one please use our Returns request form, located on our website at /contact-returns-team.html
Have you refused delivery or do you have the phone?
Regards,“Official Company Representative
I am the official company representative of Mobiles.co.uk. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"0 -
So basically send it in an envelope addressed "Wednesbury Warehouse" with a valid returns number (which is just ridiculous - surely the fact that you're receiving the handset suggests that customer has intent to cancel?) and this process "usually" works.

Absolute load of rubbish as usual Ben !!!
You do not need a returns number to send something back, the returns number is purely for your own internal system. It's not just about the money0
