My favourite soya milk is the fresh 'So Good' in the chiller cabinet.
(i hate the UHT version)
The big advantage to this, is that it tastes good on cereal, and can be used in coffee, which most others can't.
Thanks for this. I had assumed that you couldn't use any soya milk in coffee, had tried but each time it is awful.0 -

You can use all soya milk in coffee - but it can curdle if the coffee is very hot.
My tip is to put the soya milk in the cup first with the coffee and then stir like mad when adding the water.0 -

I've found all Tesco, Sains and Asda (not Asda organic as not fortfied) to be ok. Morrison's I thought was a bit watery.

Some stores will probably still have the older ones that don't, however there are packs out there that now do. They are not that bad for 60p a litre considering that they are fortified. It might not be all that cheaper but if you are like me and can go through 5 litres shop bought a week on top of home made soya milk (partner sometimes drinks it also and even the 4 rats we have will drink a bit every now and then) then it can add up as the next one up is 69p now. That adds up to £23.40 a year difference and when my partners road tax for his bike is £15 a year it means paying for that for 'free' out of the money saved with £8.40 left :money:.

Thanks for the info. I hadn't bothered with it for a while as when I first bought it it wasn't fortified so no good for OH who is vegan.
I'm all for saving the pennies whenever I can so will give it another try. It's ok, I guessesd what the "u" was!0 -
I use Alpro Soya Unsweetened (fortified with calcium and vits)
It was 91p a litre at Tesco's.
I drink it in my tea and have it with cereal. I rarely drink coffee but do find it a problem with curdling so make sure it cools properly before I add it(no problem in tea though).
I've also used it to bake vegan muffins (for my vegan relatives) and they went down well
I am not vegetarian or vegan; I just went off cow's milk.Lurker extraordinaire! no. 4950

i have noticed in 2 Iceland stores that the Alpro Soya light is being sold with normal packaging i.e. without the reward points offer, which is a shame as it had a few more months to run. Decent offer e.g. 3 pacs = 30points = free packet of variety seeds, only thing is stocks of rewards were very limited.0

We tend to use Tesco's own Soya milk, my 2 year son is milk intolerant and my partner has cut milk from her diet whilst she is feeding our newest addition.
Not experienced the problem with curdling, but I still use cows milk and my partner drinks coffee black. However I read somewhere to stop curdling you need to warm it in a pan before adding to your drink.
We add Tesco's soya to everything for cooking - mash, yorks puds etc and you really can't tell the difference.Wins 2012: Nike 20XI Golf Balls & Cap, VIP Cinema Tickets, 4oD Film Rentalx2, Dalepak vouchers (1st twitter win :j) Cinema Tickets x4, T-Shirt, Gardening surprise

Everyones comments are really interesting. I shall try Tesco's soya milk (I got onto SM when I went vegan-stopped being vegan but don't like cow milk anymore).
I shall also let you know what response I get from Aldi to my letter of complaint.0
