Aldi Soya Milk-Soya Delight-beware

Just to alert those who use the above to the fact that the ingredients have been changed-it now has less fat, less soya beans, must cost less to manufacture and tastes awful!! Needless to say the price is the same-tastes like they have taken a normal carton and diluted it by half.
I have bought this for years and bought a box of 12 last week. Opened the 1st one and thought it was "off". Compared nutritional content with previous carton and the penny dropped. Nothing on the packaging stating "New improved" or similar.
Can anyone recommend a nice soya milk please?........

Thanks for that information. Sorry can't help with a nice soya milk, have only just started using and and am in the process of trying different ones at the moment. Was going to try Aldi this week but won't bother now.0

Emuchops, make sure you take the box back for a refund and complain! Maybe follow up with an email to HO, you might get more than an apology back
.
It's only a game

Mrs B-It hadnt occurred to me to contact Aldi but thanks to your post a letter has been sent-thanks. I also mentioned in my letter how cheesed off I am that you have to phone or write-no e mail address in the"contact us" bit... bet that puts a few complainers off...0

My gf buys Tesco sweetened soya milk and gets through about 3 cartons a week with cereal. We buy about 20 packs when doing online shopping so it seems to have her seal of approval. The price is usually around 65-70p (depends on Extra or Express store) a litre so not expensive.0

Sainsbury's value range own sweetened soya milk is lovely and only about 65p.0

Is that sweetened or unsweetened - is there much difference to the taste.
difference is amount of sugar added. i prefer unsweetened, but as the original is on offer its more money saving to buy that one!
taste is down to personal difference, to be honest the original is nicer.0 -

I don't think it is fortified with calcium or vitamins though so if Soya milk is your only dairy substitute then better to go for the own brand/branded stuff. It's not that much cheaper than the own brand regular anyway.
I've found all Tesco, Sains and Asda (not Asda organic as not fortfied) to be ok. Morrison's I thought was a bit watery.
We go through gallons of the stuff so we've tried a lot of brands. For preference out of the supermarket own brands I would say Tesco is slightly better but of course taste is a personal thing.0 -
My favourite soya milk is the fresh 'So Good' in the chiller cabinet.
(i hate the UHT version)
The big advantage to this, is that it tastes good on cereal, and can be used in coffee, which most others can't.
I am grateful to OP for the information because i was going to go to Aldis and stock up on their soya milk, and now i definitely won't bother.
'So Good' soya is very hard to find now though, they have stopped selling it almost everywhere i used to buy it. i have to get it online.0
