  • Pap, hope your throat gets better soon. I found fizzy cold drinks were a relief over the last couple weeks - can you not try soda water or something without sugar in?

Hope you had a good time mooching the charity shops.
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x
  • Skinty ~ Thanks, I only have a few things left to sell/ebay now. Good in one respect bad in the other but there you go.... At least most of the clutter in my life has gone now :T

Pen ~ Thanks its still there a little but its going now. I dont know about soda water but I know we are allowed sparkling water, is that the same? Anyways I dont like the sparkling stuff so I have just carryed on as normal. I guess working though the weekend helped as I didnt have time to feel sorry for myself :rotfl:

So update time :T Nothing much exciting really but here we go...

    Friday 27th ~ £2.50 debt + £1.80 dates + £13.95 wellies
    Saturday 28th ~ £2.00 debt
    Sunday 29th ~ £2.00 debt
    Monday 30th ~ £2.00 debt + £1.59 frames + £1.40 mirror glass plate + £0.44 dog treats + £1.40 choc gifts

So thats my spends, not too good but all needed really. So lets explain them all... Friday the dates were on offer in work, basically they were reduced and then tied into an offer too, so £1.80 for 800g of dates. I gave them to Mum as a suprise that night. The wellies are an added expense I didnt think about, lil bro has brought a puppy so I have been the one mainly taking him on walks. Well it appears our local field turns into one huge bog in winter, hence the wellies. I have been walking him without them but it is quite dangerous up there especially if I am alone.

Then todays is a big expense, firstly dog treats, then a choc gift for a friend as a 'get well soon' and finally the frames and mirror glass plate. The latter two are both for Mum for chistmas and birthday day, the frames are for the photos previously mentioned for christmas and the glass plate is for her birthday. I purchased her birthday gift while on holiday and its a hand blown glass rose (her name is Rose) but I needed a mirror glass plate for it and the shop didnt sell them. So thats everything i need/planned for this side of the new year done... :j

This leaves £89.07 in my 64 day challenge  thats around £1.90 for debt repayments a day. Much less than I had forseen but still fully acheivable... in good news I am still grabbing overtime in work so in January I should be reciving a little extra :D I also still have the £59 to pay off argos in my account, I am still waiting for the last £20 to transfer and that will be payed off as soon as it arrives :T

So thats Pap for a few more days. Other than working I have nothing planned, but I do have a package to send. Still comping and actually recieved my first win today so that was nice. Oh and I also recieved a freebie in the post for christmas 2010 so thats even better :rotfl:

  • Beanie, Thanks, glad you liked them. Its true about my last sentance, I have now added it to my sig because its always good to remember...

    Rog, :grinheart

Raph, Lovely to see you back in dfw land :T

Hi all, so a little update from me. Nothing has happened much but I thought a mid week update would be nice. So still plodding, below is my spends, not a lot spent as you can see. I did however have to use £20 of my money I put asside for debt... Sadly tonight while on my way home I managed to drop my bus ticket into a huge puddle. These tickets are made of paper and ink is then printed onto them. sadly it wasnt salvagable, even to send to head office to get the unused journeys back... Lesson learned I think

    Tuesday ~ Nsd
    Wednesday ~ £1.00 debt + £38.16 debt

I need to update my sig with my 64day total but its now £88.07 :T However the best bit... Which brings me back to my now sig, since 24th October so just over a month I have repayed £131.36 towards my debt :D That is a huge amount considering my income, well I think so at least. So I now only have a debt of £382.66 :j

So thats me, I have won two comps so far and I am slowly recieving some freebies I have signed up for so I am still determinded to get all presents for next year free :T

    Keep on plodding all

Hi Raph, see here :D They are small dolls that I have been rewarding myself with once I reach a certain weight lost. I am colecting the itchy feet set, I have three so far but one I was given before starting my journey.

Thanks Beanie, sometimes I get 'off' days though and I am useless to the comunity, thankfully I dont get them very often. Going through one just now though

So the lastest in the land of Pap...

    Thursday 3rd ~ £1.00 debt
    Friday 4th ~ £1.00 debt
    Saturday 5th ~ £1.00 debt + £1.00 asos offer
    Sunday 6th ~ £1.00 debt + £10.87 = dog coat and Yankee tart

The asos offer was found on the grabbit board, two items for christmas next year for only £1 delivered. I have ordered a shower set (for my sister) and some lip gloss, I may however keep the lip gloss for myself but for only £1 its a fab deal. The dog coat and yankee tart were 'extras', basically the dog coat is because he is frezzing when we take him on walks so I wanted something to keep him warm and that was the cheapest. Then the yankee tart is my usuall christmas tart that is now melting away :D I think I was quite restained though as we went to Cadbury garden centre and I usually spend quite a bit in there so less than £11 is a record for me :T

Thats it for now, just plodding on... I dont know how the PaD's and what is remaining of my 64day challenge will work out but I am sure I can at least pay £1 a day to my debt. Ohh and I did recieved a £4 cheque from music magpie so that will be going towards my argos debt I think once it clears :D I am getting increasing worried about my Argos debt though

    Keep plodding all :j
