  • BoB ~ Thanks, of course if I had contuined on f/t wages I am sure I could have adapted my lifestyle to that wage. But having been on p/t for so long I seem to have become accustomed to my lifestyle and what I can afford. Not long now till I am debt free if i have anything to do with things :T

Snaggs ~ Wow, I love you! You have but my 'debt' into perspective for me today. Yes some debts are bad, and I do regret having to have this small amount now, but what I have in return is far behond what I could ever have imagined, so yes it is 'good debt' really. Although I would give more to be even more slimmer the next few stone I want to do without getting deeper into debt  So here goes, it wont be around for long if I can help it :T Thanks so much for your kind and understanding opinion :kisses3:

  • Pap, sorry, didn't realise that you have lost soo much weight (rubbish at keeping up with the diaries etc). Well done - that's amazing. Managing that, a part time wage and such a low debt, you are brill. Keep going x
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.

  • :rotfl: Gem, I guess I either talk too much or have too many lurkers. I think its the latter myself but I love knowing that others are following and somehow taking inspiration/motivation from me :T

Pen, you wouldnt have known. I did post way back in my old diary but didnt post about it after that. Therfore its only seen if I post a soa, being my opening post/page of this diary I felt I needed to post my soa. I have been on it months and months now but I am nearing the end so I will have plenty to repay debts/save soon :D

Sarah ~ Thanks for lurking, I must admit I do on your diray too :o Thanks I do try and make what money I have go as far as I can, not mastered it yet but I am getting there :j

    So a little update...

As I mentioned in my old diray Mum repayed be the £80 she borrowed for Henry yesterday. So I decided to keep £10 for myself and I did spend a small amount (details below), £30 I have placed in my sisters card so that leaves £40. So £10.00 is for a family friend and then £30 for Mum... Well dispite me asking Mum what she wanted for xmas she had no idea hence the cash. She has now decided she wants two things, and I have also found her one more thing  All together these cost £34.03 plus I have a £5 voucher for Amazon from BP so £29.03 :T So I will get the £30.00 put into my bank tomorrow and order these gifts, then I will have finished christmas, definitely :rotfl:

So I did keep £10.00 back from the money for me. With this I spent £4.00 in the body shop on one of thier christmas fragrance oils and I also put £4.00 into my savings tin. My PaD today was £3.00 and when that clears I will officially be under £200 in debt on my credit card :j As I only have two days left before payday, the last amount left in my current account will be thrown at the credit card split between Wednesday and Thursday :D

Thats about it from me, just plodding along :rotfl: Keep going all

Hi Pap, I'm a serial lurker too :D
You're hardly plodding - sounds like you're racing along!

Well done, you're doing great and are inspirational with your weight loss achievements :T
  • SS ~ Thanks, still a fair way to go though :rotfl:
Mac ~ I am a serial lurker on your diary too, weird :D Ahh racing for a while but it will soon slow down in the coming months. Bring on 2010 :j

Afternoon all, so another few days have passed in the land of Pap. Not much has happened if I am honest... Although saying that its payday today :) I have been payed a little extra so after bill & todays PaD etc I am left with £170. I am hopping I can make this stretch untill January's pay, which I am sure I will if I am more savvy. The only thing I really desperately need is frontline for Thomas which I will order today but I have a code for 15% off the price so it will be about £14 for 6 months. Other than that I have nothing planned so if I am careful I am sure I can manage untill the new year...

So spends these last two days ~
    Wednesday 11th ~ £2.00 Cambridge Magazine + £1.00 wrapping paper + 90p postage + £6.00 debt + £29.13 presents (as posted above)
    Thursday 12th ~ £13.87 debt + £1.86 book (used £2.00 clubcard points)

    Keep plodding all

£155.67 now after Thomas' frontline  It will be until the 15th so [STRIKE]62[/STRIKE] 64 days. I am sure I can do it though, its £2.60 a day so at least it will cover my PaD's. I was going to get Mum another xmas gift but I have decided against it now. However her birthday is the 25th of Jan so I will make sure I spend a little extra on her then :T I love challenge's its a way to keep you focused. The fact that I have no disposable income next month helps ;) :rotfl:

    Keep plodding Mac :j
