    Yay - well done Pap.
Are you going to stick at where you are work wise? Or are you still looking around?

Well I am looking around but not always in my field now. I think the fact that my pay is soon to be cut and I will be on less money for more flexiblity made me think I need a better job. Even if I work somewhere I want to work with an even bigger wage drop thats fine with me :D That paired with the fact I don't think where I work will be there much longer :o

Ok so I have set up a direct debit for my savings account. I have set it as £50 a month but I will also be sending money from my main account using standing orders/cheques too. After all bills (and that direct debit) I should have over £200 disosable income. I really want to save an additional £100 a month leaving £100 for grocerys and stuff, we shall see :D

Let the savings plod commence :rotfl:

  • Thanks Gem, I know I have been here before but this time its for keeps, nothing will stop me building a fair bit of savings by the end of this year.

Today I have sent off £70 to savings, I spent £14 on tarts and I have withdrew £10 for flutters :rotfl: so that leaves around £35. My aim is to leave that there until payday to pay into savings before the end of my 'month'. Not too bad...

Plod on, and on, and on.... :A
