Rog ~ smile_rvmp_by_bad_blood.gif I guess we could try and make a song from it but I dont think it will be all that good :rotfl:

Certainly not if I have to sing it, PaP. :rotfl:

Only just realised that I have to physically subscribe to a thread now - it used to be automatic once you posted

Still, I'm well and truly 'subscribed' now. ;)

You seem to be 'plodding along nicely', now PaP. Great news on the weight loss. :T :T

Hi beanie - getting better, thanks - still 'trundling' for ASDA :o, but also 'getting back' into the selling game - have linked up with a company in the UK, who are assisting me with my expenses. Can't wait until I'm able to knock the 'Jolly? Green Giant' on the head. ;)

In the meantime, like PaP and the rest of us, must still keep on 'plodding'.

  • QueenBess ~ Thanks for popping onto my diary. I cant wait untill I get to London, I will do it! Yes thats one neagtive with the diet, due to my medical condition I have a tendancy to put on weight quickly so its going to be a lot of calorie counting and weight watching for a long time yet...

Rog ~ Lol, we can sing together, it might not be a top ten hit but maybe we can busk for a cup of tea or two ;) Glad to see your new/next adventure is going well Rog. Fingers crossed as you never know where it will lead. Still plodding at asda though, it pays the bills however  Keep plodding Rog, I will be alongside you :T

Babes ~ Thanks, another Doug Hyde :D

So a little update. The m&s cards are free but you had to cover postage of 49p a card. Not too bad I dont think...

    Friday 13th ~ £8.68 debt + 98p m&s free cards postage x2 + £14.33 frontline
Saturday 14th ~ £1.69 debt + 40p 1 coffee and 1 tea (the latter two not included in my 64 day thing as it was spare in my purse)

Spoke to Mum yesterday and I told her there is no way I can afford the holiday we have planned in May. We generally go away once a year but this year we managed two. However the one in May will cost me at least £80 just for accomodation without spends ontop. At the moment I am having trouble finding the money to cover all my debt with my income so a holiday just will not happen. I still have my savings tin though (at the moment stands at £18.50) so I will use that for xmas savings next year I think :j

This weekend I have also started comping and freebie hunting. I planned to do this a while ago but didnt get around to it. On Friday I went to find a new email address and found I had one. So the comping and hunting started. I am now planning to enter at least 10 comps a day and also find as many usuable freebies as possible.

As always I am forever plodding :T Have a great weekend all...
  • Hi Pap, good luck with the comping & freebies. Have a good Saturday evening.
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x

Good evening all... My word what a week!

So I last updated just after payday. So everything was going well untill Thomas my cat went missing on Monday  Now some might not understand but me and that cat go back forever. We actually got him when I was on job seekers, then he was with me through out my accident. He has basically been through so much with me that I was distraught. I still had my hopes up but at the end of Tuesday they were fading, Thomas will go out in the morning but is back at 6pm for food so it was unlike him. Although I thought nothing had happened to him when he still hadnt returned on Wednesday I feared the worse. I then decided I should update his microchip info incase he is picked up by a charity/the council so that cost £5... Wednesday afternoon I then printed flyers (luckly I had 2 spare ink cartridges from when an online company messed up my order) and posted them in a few streets.

Well sucess... Someone two doors away knocked on the door this morning and apprently he has been in there garden for two days. He was scared and confussed though so we can only guess he has been locked in somewhere or he was shocked somehow. Never the less we got him home and as stated on my flyer I gave a cash reward to the little girl that let us get him from her garden :T

So thats me! I am much more happier and peaceful today but the past few days has killed me. Its the not knowing thats the worrying thing. I have been comping but I missed doing any on Tuesday and I still haven't done any today. I havent won anything yet but I will ;)

    So spends...
    Sunday 15th ~ £2.00 debt + £2.50 shirt
    Monday 16th ~ £1 debt
    Tuesday 17th ~ £2.41 debt
    Wednesday 18th ~ £3.50 debt + 89p water + £5 microchip update
    Thursday 19th ~ £1.13 debt + £20 Thomas reward + £1.69 card + £1 mug

Not too bad I dont think. The water wasnt needed but I left my bottle at home and I really needed it. The card is for a friend who has turned 70 and it was such a big occasion I couldnt just let it be. And the mug well that certainly wasnt needed but it was super cute.

So I am now 7 days into my challenge nad have £127.18 left. I have spent much more than I have wanted to but sadly the £25 for Thomas I hadnt budgetted for, but that expense I would do over and over again. That still leaves me around £2 a day to throw at my debt though so its not all bad :T

Lets hope this week isnt repeated anytime soon

    Keep plodding all :T
